Used FFCU for a home equity loan and have had nothing but issues. They charged a $2700 fee on my account, admitted they shouldn't have and removed it. Then 3 months later put the charge back on my account twice for a total of over $5500. That was 10 months ago and I've been attempting to get it removed ever since with absolutely no luck. They are very efficient at collecting money, but when it comes to fixing mistakes and giving money back all of a sudden they become totally inept. Overall an awful experience. Website is extremely frustrating to use and customer service is slow and unhelpful. Gave two stars because the people in the branch are actually very nice.

No issues. Great customer service. Excellent rates on loans. Very pleased with their service.Edit: I left for a few years. When I came back they were just as nice and easy to deal with as before. Great rate on a home equity loan and easy application process.

I'm sorry but I used to Bank here because my dad was a firefighter and left because of fees. That was 30 years ago. Today I tried to cash a check and they wanted to charge me $250 to cash it. What a DUMP. Don't ever Bank there.

I was working with Raquel and I can't say enough good things about her. She was so kind and knowledgeable and I felt extremely confident switching my car loan company to Firefighters Community Credit Union. She was amazing and I highly recommend working with this company and Raquel!!

I was waited on by Christoper on 3/19/22 at the Cleveland location on Emerald Parkway. Christoper was kind, informative, and very helpful! He was a joy to talk to and made the experience of going to the bank on a Saturday morning enjoyable! Christoper took the time to actually talk to me and make me feel like a valued customer. I appreciate you, Christoper! FFCU you should keep wonderful employees like Christopher around!

Opened an account here for savings. Have a few thousand dollars in there and got a notice threatening to charge me $10 a month for not using the account enough. I have like $5k in there why would that result in any charges? You're earning free interest off my money. I guess I'll put my money somewhere else.Really sneaky practice as I was definitely never made aware of this fee when I signed up. They silently start stealing your money all the while making money from holding on to your money. I see someone else below fell victim. Shocked to see a credit union engaging in such shady practices. An account with a decent balance should never incur fees.

Save your money-save your pride. I wrote a check on 1-24-22 and they processed it a week later 2/4/22 causing it be late because their employee processed it to be too late and not applying it to my credit card which then charging me $30.00. Worst treatment I've ever had at a financial institution. They lied about other clever ideas to cover themselves and steeling 30 more. I am disabled and could really us that $30-but I guess they need it more than I. I will immediately look for a new checking account. I can deposit my money elsewhere where they will so their work on time as they should. Now I know ffcu does not care at all about a trusted, honest citizen-and former employee. Spread the word they are why face book exhists

Really upset by the way I have been treated! I opened up a IRA account and when I got my checks from my Retirement. They told me my account was set up wrong and since I’m a new member I had to have a 11 day hold on my own money which IRS regulation is 2 days. I’ve had nothing but not good service! The staff are very friendly and helpful. I love how they personable and spend time chatting with you. Your not just another number. You have that warm feeling when you come in and if it was a family establishment. Highly recommended.

I’ve been a member of the credit Union for about 15 years. I’ve never been over drawn, never had any shady business with my account. A teller named Janice refused to let me transfer 40 dollars from my account to my mom’s account because she wasn’t sure if I was doing something “dishonest.” I’ve never done anything dishonest in the 15 years I’ve been going there, and I would LOVE to know what, exactly, Janice thought that I was doing that was dishonest by trying to help my mom out financially. Janice needs to be fired.
