I shopped here and paid for my items. The cashier Sharon turned to another employee and said I put an item in my bag and I didn't pay. She was watching like a hawk from the moment I rang up my items. She acts this way all the time and she is rude. This is probably because I'm black and she thinks all black people steal. I should have never been treated this way and even after I showed her my receipts she still didn't apologize for her disrespect and nasty attitude. She doesn't deserve to be in that position if she does not know how to treat all people fairly.

This is no longer the Giant Eagle I grew up on. Poor service, rude and lazy employees, and marketing tactics that are sly and underhanded. Don’t waste your money.

I went up to my favorite giant Eagle at edge cliff Avenue. I'm visiting my brother and Cleveland air and I'll look bought chicken and sweet potatoes and macaroni salad and coleslaw. And we're gonna have a nice cook out. The prices at the giant Eagle here in Cleveland a really reasonable. But the prices infinitely at the kroger boy it's expensive

Excellent customer service, fast checkouts and decent selection. However, I did manage to somehow purchase yogurt that was almost three weeks expired. While this didn't live up to Giant Eagle standards (compared to other stores), the staff were rather prompt about correcting the issue and compensating me for my inconvenience. I will also say that they should consider brighter lighting, the place is a bit dim inside.

I drove to this Giant Eagle because the one in Westlake and River had run out of the 8 pack of Atkins shakes that were on sale. I knew that was a possibility but what surprised me is that they don't even carry that size - the sale price was $6.99 for a four pack and $6.99 for a eight pack. Yes, that's crazy but that's correct. Conclusion, the people that frequent this store and happen to buy those specific drinks just paid double then the people in Westlake, Bay, Rocky River and North Olmsted.

Chronically understaffed (try paying people) and with a poor selection of…everything, even compared to the Giant Eagle five minutes west. Oh and don’t forget the lack of local products from this Pittsburgh-based chain. Do yourself a favor and aim high-quality with Heinen’s or lower-cost with Aldi or Marc’s. Giant Eagle in general and this branch in particular offer neither quality nor price. Avoid.

Prices have gotten insane here. My husband came home with hot dog buns, pickles and coleslaw yesterday and yet his total was pushing $18. No wonder I stopped going to giant eagle once they got ride of double coupons. They're just a cash grab anymore.

Edit: it’s been three weeks since I emailed the store about the cashier bagging raw meat next to my veggies in the same bag. They did this out of spite and he smiled when he did it because I called the follies a “scam” since the packaging had deceptive prices.Nobody from this store apparently cares so I adjusted my review to one star and I have stopped shopping there completely. And will continue to support other grocers instead.
