The Great Lakes Science Center is a good place to bring kids to keep them busy for a few hours or even a full day. It is a fun place and a gem with many cute exhibits. The steam ship is a super neat exhibit, though it may not be suitable for very small kids. The dome theater, IMAX theater, and science shows are cool experiences and worth the money. There is an entire area dedicated to younger age groups with a ball pit, a small playground, and make believe items that kids love. However, tickets and parking are pretty pricey. The place often seems packed, which can be challenging, and those with sound sensitivities should consider ear protection. Some visitors note that quite a few exhibits were broken or out-of-order, and the outside area is sometimes not open. While a lot of the learning is geared to older kids, there are plenty of areas appropriate for ages 3 and up. Overall, it provides a good experience and is worth a visit for families, even if it can feel expensive for what you get.
I went for a field trip and it is super fun! We went to the dome theater too! I love the penguin love song lol. There are 3 floors of absolute fun, and we got a tour of a ship!

First time visitor and looking forward to going back. For kids that love science, this place is awsome. Lots of hands on displays and chances to experiment. Awsome physics displays.

Nasa provided explanations. It is a very interesting place to show children. Thank you for serving in various categories such as children, students, and adults. Please repair and replace some of the broken items.
