Rental department was terrible. The guy charged for insurance on a short term rental without asking while I was bringing the car around. Only found out upon return where he extremely rudely refused to refund it and denied it happened acting like I was stupid for wanting the money back. Customer service eventually got it refunded but took a long time and was uncomfortable.

2023: if you are going to continue to offer curb side after the pandemic then you actually have to provide the service. When I pulled up to have items delivered to my car I was told that I needed to come in, even though when I purchased the item online it gave the option for curbside. I had to argue with a manager on bringing the item to my car as I had a passenger that I could not take with me in the store and i could not leave them in the vehicle hence why i chose curbside. Clearly in 4 yrs their customer service has not improved.2019:The staff here seems to not want to work. I had to seek someone out and ask for help, they said they would go look for the item and never returned. Again I had to seek someone out and basically pled them to help. They also didnt have enough inventory of items that you would buy in bulk.

One of my family members was stalked and harassed by an employee throughout their entire shopping experience. The employee in question was hostile to them the entire time. Near the end of it the employee trapped them in the garden center, and tried to goad them into leaving the garden center through another exit with a full cart, telling them that "they can come through the main door to pay" so the employee could try and frame them for shoplifting. My family member didn't take the bait and when the employee finally let them out of the garden center, they get management involved and insinuated that the person in my family was stealing. This was done entirely because of their appearence, and they had no evidence otherwise. My family was moving into a house that needed a lot of repairs which is why they were getting as much stuff as they were.My family member had to sit in jail for 3 days over this fake accusation, and blatent profiling, and then had to waste time in court. If you hate poor people, and don't think they deserve to be treated like human beings you should totally shop here.

I'm going to give this experience a 3 because even though the way this worker treated us, at the end, we were helped. We went to plumbing, requested to have some pipes cut for a project. The older guy that was there, Josh, I think it was, got real nasty, told us to buy the pipe and showed us the special cutter and told us to "cut it ourselves because he didn't feel like doing it". Ok! So what the hell are you there for, Sir!? Went to the front, told a young lady that my sister knows by a name of Tina, she guided us to a young man back at plumbing that had no problem cutting these pipes. I mean, do your job! Why should we have to pay to buy a cutter when you work there to provide that service to your customer? Thank you Tina and that young Hispanic gentleman. You made our trip there worth it! Will continue to go there, but will avoid this man that definitely hates his job or certain kind of people.

Bought a refrigerator here. The delivery was horrible. They outsource to Forward .Air. Very bad service. Buy from Lowes instead, it's not worth the hassle to use Home Depot. Delivery people are not accountable and rude. Did not remove the old refrigerator, that I paid for. The didn't a assemble my new refrigerator or level it. I talked to a home depot manager, Paulette, and they refused to help me. She said she couldn't help me because the delivery company is not accountable to Home Depot.

Besides the old men standing in the middle of aisles making it impossible to get passed. Definitely an A-O-K place for sure. Preffered over Lowes. Only went to buy a new bedroom door. Way cheaper than anticipated.

Saturday morning called the store about renting the van. They said we had to come in and do it in person. Drove to the store. They said the van wasn’t available because it was reserved for 3-7pm. We asked if we could rent it for one hour 12-1. They said no. Nice system they’ve got!

Customer Service NOT in this store!Came in right before closing to exchange a gas line I purchased earlier that was the wrong size. Gentlemen there in parts was very helpful and made sure I had what I need as I was frazzled trying to get everything as it was about to close. So THANKFUL for people like HIM so I could turn on the gas that night.Went to customer service to do an exchange, NO ONE was working. I found a female employee by the self checkout and was told everyone that could do an exchange went home & that they are closed. It was 9:05pm store closed at 9pm. I told her there are still people in this store, and a gentlemen next to me chimed in also expressing his disbelief no one was there to help. She told me she wanted to go home and that I need to come back tomorrow for a refund. I asked why is it okay for people to leave when they are still people in the store? It was 5 minutes after 9pm when I finally found an employee to help.I proceeded to checkout my items myself because there was no cashier at a register either. My receipts is 9:07pm.What happened to working until doors were locked and customers were out of the store?? Both myself and the male customer who intervened left in disbelief. You can stay open long enough to take my money and make me check myself out, but not long enough to exchange an item so I didn't spend more money I didn't have?? I'll be going to North Olmsted location from on. Thanks

I'm always running in here to pick something up for a repair. Most times they have what I need. Also they have convenient hours and usually the store employees are knowledgeable.

All Home Depot’s are pretty much the same, most of the differences are usually how they are set up, what they carry on hand stuff like that. This store seems to be very well stocked for the specific area it’s in servicing the older parts of Parma, as well as Old Brooklyn, and Brooklyn. They have a lot of the cheaper options for electrical work, as well as Plumbing, and HVAC always on the shelves. The closest store to me is far more suburban so it stocks mostly “weekend warrior” inventory. If you are on the west side, especially doing jobs on a century home in the Old Brooklyn neighborhood, you will absolutely be able to find what you need. The staff may not be the most knowledgeable, but they are indeed very helpful, and I’ve always had very kind interactions with them.Plus they usually have better deals on tools if you know where to look.Overall 4/5 stars. For what it needs to be its perfect.
