Rental department was terrible. The guy charged for insurance on a short term rental without asking while I was bringing the car around. Only found out upon return where he extremely rudely refused to refund it and denied it happened acting like I was stupid for wanting the money back. Customer service eventually got it refunded but took a long time and was uncomfortable.

I was clueless as to what to purchase for a 1st time repair. I pretended not to need help but after a second person asked he explained to me what I need which wasn't as much as I thought I needed. Thank you.

Home Depot has some of the worse customer service regarding washer and dryer installation. My boyfriend is disabled and ordered a new stackable unit over 2 months ago. the first day they brought it,m they said where is the mounting bracket kit? they didn't deliver it with it. he then had to have one ordered which took well over a month to get here. then it took over a week for the crew to come and they cancelled it cus they're lines got crossed. not my boyfriend problem. the second time they came no screws were in the same kit which was on Jan 17th. then today they came still no screws and very ignorant accusing of opening the box. it's not his god dam job to look into the box... and how the hell do u not carry extras screws or parts on ur truck. this is totally inexcusable and rediculous that a disabled person or anyone for that dam matter have to wait this long. the ppl that came need to learn how to treat to a customer and be friendlier before they run out the door. plus u don't tell a customer that ur gunna talk to the warehouse and not take care of it. they never called these past two times to let him know a time frame either. something need to be done and I want a contact back.

When it comes to home appliances, Home Depot's arrogance is exceeded only by their incompetence and total lack of service orientation. Two years ago I was redesigning my kitchen and we put thousands of dollars into to the appliances. While the process was ongoing my 3 year old stove crapped out. I had about 4 weeks before the contractors were going to install the appliances and cabinets so I asked Home Depot if they could deliver the new stove early. They said absolutely not, I'd get it on the originally scheduled day and not before. I had to cook outside for the entire time. There was no COVID excuse in 2018. Fast forward to 2020, The top rack of my dishwasher malfunctioned. On 11/5 the so called "repairman" came, immediately turned on the dishwasher and started to listen. I tried to tell him it was the rack but he said he diagnosed problems by listening and rudely shushed me. I repeated that the problem was the rack and he finally relented and opened the door and started to play with the rack. He said he had to order parts and he'd be back in 5 days. He didn't return until 12/22. He had brought the wrong parts but said: "Don't worry, I'm having my source 'overnight' the stuff I need." We're still waiting. Meanwhile I called the case manager and he said the best he could do was reimburse the cost of the dishwasher, leaving me to worry about installation and disposal. I bought the best maintenance plan I could and this is all I get? I might buy a hammer, drill or Ryobi tool from them, but never any appliances. They are useless in that department.

Very disappointed with @HomeDepot bought an off the shelf microwave and they told they no longer give military discounts on appliances. Way to force more people to Menards.

Ordered a firepit for pickup a few days ago... Have yet to even get any info about the order (aside from a paypal receipt). Tried calling Home Depot, several times, the past few days and have had zero luck even getting anyone to answer a phone.

I'm done shopping here forever. No more cashier lanes everything is self checkout. God forbid you're buying spray paint, wood, or anything thats not a small household item. The people who are supposed to help stand there playing on their phones.

Terrible store full of very nasty and rude staff d*** rednecks and illegal aliens seem to work in this dump. every thing they sell is a defect or cheap garbage and if you have them come to the home to do work you will get over charged because they work with the government and EPA and the j*** they will send to your home is worst of the worst to do the job, lets hope this monopoly goes under with all the new hardware stores opening up in the area. Home Depot you suck

Horrible customer service and not at all obliging to the disabled. I bought a riding lawn mower for over $1500, they had to days to assemble and would not even deliver. The day I was scheduled to pick it up they put it together in a 1/2 hour. I asked how they could do it so fast when they could not do it in 2 days. They just said not to worry. I rented their truck, got it home and just as I thought-the seat was loose, the oil stick felt broke and they did not even include a key-how imcompiant are these guys. Being disabled-they made it all the harder. I went to the store-again-to get the key and spoke to the store manager. Another huge waste of time. Thank goodness a new home goods store is now wpen and I hope they have quality employees-Home Depot can't find them. Even employees at other Home Depot stores talk down about this store-that's sad. I guess minimum wage doesn't buy what it used to-even in store managers. I but their biggest activity is returns. Maybe Home Depot will wise up and close this store soon. It's just a waste of space and an insult to consumers
