We were sent to pick up sub floor. ask 9 employees for help. finally I had to stand at front at the end of the isle and loudly ask if a contractor could help me. Thankfully one came to help and wouldn't you know 2 if the orange vest tagged along. I made sure to let the hourly know to return to stand at the front end and continue the conversation they were having. I am starting to really shop at Lowes or Menards more.

My card was charged on March 30th for $291.19 without any reason. The manager, Becky, was very rude and she couldn't find out anything. Instead, she put the blame on my worker (??) I have NOT authorized that charge over the phone as I normally do. So, to conclude, this store can use your card number to benefit someone else and when you call to complain the manager just doesn't care and give you hell. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND VERY DISHONEST HANDLING OF THE ISSUE. I need my money back.

This was the absolute BEST experience I have ever had in a Home Depot, ever. Everyone was so incredibly kind and helpful. Nigel helped us with our paint and we so kind and wonderful. Then Luis checked us out and he was absolutely fantastic! Everyone talks down on Steelyard and I am so happy that we decided to go to this location. I would 100% go back every time with the amazing staff we encountered. Awesome customer service! I hope someone reads this and thanks their amazing employees for going above and beyond.

I would be carful going here!! Just got a email someone returned stuff on my pro account and got money back. I live a hour away and I’m home eating dinner. So there is no way I was in there. I keep my receipts so I don’t kno how or what they did to get a refund.

Misogynistic - my sister, fiancé ("man"), and I went to get lumber. A sales associate watched without comment as the "man" got lumber down, when my sister went to grab lumber he barked, loudly and abrasively, "No! that's what I'm here for." Then proceeded to hand the lumber over my sisters head to the "man," then when my sister went to take a board, he again barked "No! not you." She asked "I'm not allowed to even help?" "No!" She left, furious-which I agree with- you CANNOT disallow someone from doing something based solely on what (gender, race, religion) they are. There is a name for that. You cannot pretend you are helping a lady by yelling at her. When I told the sales associate that we was incredibly rude, he was bewildered "what? I don't like to see a lady carry lumber." Train your people Home Depot! There are tons of women that work in construction now, and that attitude is not acceptable.

A typical Home Depot. Not as bad as people describe it on other reviews, maybe people should calibrate their expectations. It's a hardware store. You can get better deals online for alot of stuff they sell, but if you need something right away, you don't have a choice. It's also good to do research before going so you know what to get.

The registered are mostly all self-check out. I couldn't find an employee to ring me out. There's a customer service department that has about 4 employees but no one was available to assist me. I understand downsizing and making more self check outs but I will not go back to a store that doesn't even have a cashier to help me.

They have everything you need! So does every other home improvement store .... The greeter was impeccably sincere when I walked in today. This woman really actually wanted me to have a good day and shopping experience, she was no Walmart greeter! I wish I asked your name so badly so I could give you the credit earned. Whoever was working around 12-1 today, you have an extremely kind heart and you made my trip. I was looking for a slab of wood for a nail/string art project I've been toying with. I found the lumber aisle and immediately was overwhelmed with my options. I had a few questions on what type of wood and nails to use for the project. I pin pointed which length and width of wood I wanted, but had no idea what type of nail would be good for the project or which style wood. There were over 12 style/size options, which is good...if you know what you need. I walked to the next aisle over where a group was stocking to ask employees for help but they didn't want to take their time away from stocking to acknowledge me or answer my two minute tidbit questions.

This location is really just ok. Once you pass the greeter (if there is one) the only other interaction with staff you will have is checking out. Unless of course you seek an employee out, and even then, you might be better off on your own. Side note: I wish one could checkout at either entrance, instead of just one. Really inconvenient. The garden center could use a much larger selection of trees/bushes/plants and good luck finding any employee there except the cashier. Prices are also higher than their competition, like hanging begonias were $4 cheaper at Marc's.

Do not buy any services from home depot. When they pass it off to their contractor they give no assistance to their customer. It is impossible to get them on the phone and it is impossible to get help if the installation has issues, like my a/c install did. The one person at another store who tried to help filled a ticket which only got passed back to the contractor. I was without a/c for three months after install and none would help. If you want to buy physical things from them fine, but take your services business elsewhere.
