Our tax expert frequently entered data incorrectly, leading to a delay in processing and insisted it was right. Documents were often lost even when he was holding them in his hand. When we asked about an issue with our city taxes, we were told "Good luck figuring that out."
We continued filing with HR block simple because we filed so close to the deadline. I will not be filing my taxes with HR Block and you probably shouldn't either.

I had to cancel my first appointment after waiting for over 30 min. While waiting for my rescheduled appointment they chose to take a walk in instead of holding me to my appointment. With the amount of time I’ve spent in their waiting room I could have done my taxes myself. Such a waste of time and money.

For the tax year 2020 BERNARD J EFFLERWorking for H&RBLOCK at the Kammscorners office claimed he could file a very simple business return. When he wasn't falling asleep he was talking to his wife about what they were to have for dinner.He botched mine and my wife's return so badly I had to have it amended and it still isn't correct. This ignorant slob somehow after 3 hours for something that usually takes my regular tax person 45 minutesTops, combined my business return with my wife's personal info making it look like I earned nothing but she earned everything. NEGATIVE TEN STARS!THE SOCIAL SECURITY OFFICE DOES NOT RECOGNIZE MY HIGHEST YEAR OF EARNINGS MEANING I GET LESS FROMSOCIAL SECURITY . NoThanks to Bernard j effler and H&r block I'm still fighting with the social security office

IMO, This is not the firm that you want if you want accuracy and professional service. The legal and other rep.'s hide behind meaningless comments even though the paper trail shows errors and inaccuracies in their tax prep. Legal rep.'s are arrogant and unprofessional bullies, IMO!

The person that prepared my taxes was friendly and efficient and helpful. But the cost of this service is way overpriced especially when so many other things are available online. Had I realized the final cost I would have done them myself as I had simple returns. There is also a $39 fee to direct deposit. I'm reasonably sure that should be a free option

I have used h&r block for over 15 years. My only complaint is that loyalty is a one way street,as tenure is not recognized. Also,the rate increase,that is higher every year comes with the same exact service even on a simple easy form like mine.
