Won't be banking again with Key Bank, ever. My wife and I closed our account with Key Bank after zeroing in the bank account when we were done with our home improvement loan. A year later we found out they charged us a maintenance fee for closing the bank account. They overdrafted us over $100, and told me over the phone "you needed to shut down your account instead of closing it." This is the type of language and business model used by frauds, swindlers, and people generally trying to rip people off. It's not millions but as a regular-Joe, I feel like I was taken advantage of. I will be telling everyone I know to never to bank with Key bank. How pitiful is it that they would punish a customer for fair business. It's disrespectful and disheartening. Shame on you

my branch and victor saldana closing my accounts because i asked for help from key bank,even executive office's katie,dene playing a part in this ! all for asking for a loan to support my nieces due to the(deaths of my sister and brother. from covid 19. which violations of my civil rights have been done to me by discriminating and defimating my character. all because i thought my banks objective was to help not destroy me and my life. jeffrey ready

This bank is awful. I don't bank with them by choice, they purchased my loan from First Niagra Bank and since then have made it a living hell to service my account. It's been years and I just finally coerced my own account number out of them. Despite auto charging nearly 400 a month they would not provide me with the information. Not to mention their Call center is inexperienced. Contradicting themselves multiple times withing a ten minute conversation. I can promise you one thing: Bank with Key and you'll want to rip your hair out.

I assume this is the headquarters of Key Bank. Key will not do much if anything at all if you have fraudulent charges on your account. They ask you to call the company and resolve it yourself. You pay fees and trust them with your money and they make you do all the work if you have a problem. I have been a good customer for 20 yrs business and personal and I am now taking business elsewnere.

Absolutely, deplorable customer service. If only negative stars were an option. Luckily, this is not my personal bank. I cannot imagine the frustration their clients face. Extremely unprofessional behavior.
