Surprisingly gross hotel. Not a 4-star hotel at all. The location is very convenient, but our room was outdated and dark and RIGHT next to the staff elevator making it impossible to sleep in with all the staff banging around their carts outside of our room trying to get in and out of the elevator. The bathroom was dirty and the towel we got had a hole in it.

This hotel is great! Jerry, the concierge, was really helpful, friendly, and made us feel at home while celebrating our anniversary. The hotel rooms are clean and beautiful, and we slept great. Definitely would stay here again.

I absolutely enjoyed my one night stay and would stay here again! The location is perfect for exploring, my room was clean and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful.Safety: As a woman traveling solo I felt very safe and comfortable.Walkability: I left my car at valet and walked to the rock and roll hall of fame, and all the tourist spots in the area

Nickoli and his staff out front were awesome… made me feel like I owned the place… inside was just as pleasant…. All smiles and attention… Betts staff also killed it… not sure his name but I had the same gentleman all 3 days and I never met a happier person… would go back without question

I've never slept better. The bed was so comfortable and you have your choice of pillows. Plus my room was amazingly dark. The food was really good. Let's talk though about the star of the experience: Jerry at the front desk. I came in at night and right away Jerry had infectious positive energy and was very upbeat. He was helpful and I enjoyed my first experience at the hotel talking with him. 10/5 stars for Jerry and his caring attitude towards guests!

Jerry at the front desk is an absolute STAR! I had been traveling for quite a while cross country and was visibly stressed. Jerry was so welcoming and kind upon my arrival he immediately put me at ease. He was helpful, informative about the hotel and always went the extra step to ensure me and my parents each had what we needed for a pleasant stay. Cheers to you Jerry! Thank you!

I really wish I could give 10 stars for the service at this hotel! Jerry became my personal reminder that life is good! His smile and style is such a breath of fresh air, he makes it so hard to be sad! Past that, he was always so professional and handled guest request very promptly. When the desk would get busy he had such a wonderful manner of greeting everyone and managing multiple requests at the same time!Everyone else was great, but Jerry really stood out as someone that will always go above-and-beyond for his guests! The restaurant wasn't always the fastest to get in-and-out of, but the food was always high quality. However, orders to go always came up quick and that was nice. There's a lot of great personalities in the restaurant too!I highly recommend this hotel and its wonderful staff if you need a stress-free break at the end of a long day!Rooms: The rooms are finished very well with a lot of fine fittings and plenty of space. I had a room with a noise-maker and it really helped me sleep, these can also be requested at the desk. The provided soaps are very nice and made my hair feel great. The only weird bit that I wasn't a fan of was the shower not having a full glass door or a curtain. It's a half-stall glass pane, but at least the shower stall itself was nice and large. There were always plenty of towels to deal with it, but I still don't like having to mop up that much water. The water pressures were FANTASTIC!Nearby activities: The Playhouse Square area has so many activities happening all the time with different concerts and shows coming through! The Hofbräuhaus was a quiet spot for lunch, but nights with the band were loud and had a great party atmosphere with plenty of beer and shots all around!Safety: This hotel is very safety-focussed. The elevator is per-floor, key-access only. Security staff is onsite 24/7Walkability: There's a CVS downstairs and a slew of restaurants, bars, and activities all within a leisurely 15 minute's walk.Food & drinks: Cocktails were always beautifully crafted, especially the martinis. Drinks were also made strong, but not over-bearing. The food tasted and smelled so good with nice plating. If you're in a rush around dinner, I would order to-go though.

The building and the decor of this hotel was nice. However, the woman named Jenna? was so unbearably rude from the beginning of our stay till the end. She had a nasty attitude and was very demeaning. Even when we said thank you at the end of the conversation she ignored and did not reply. She made it clear that we were not welcomed. I expected better from Kimpton. Also the room was not cleaned well and some of the towels had orangish stains on them.

During our recent stay at The Kimpton Schofield Hotel, nestled in the heart of downtown Cleveland, we experienced nothing short of luxury. The hotel's onsite restaurant, Betts, served up some memorable meals that elevated our stay. Food from room service was great, but I would suggest an elevated presentation as it was in a to-go style; the filet mignon steak was flawlessly cooked, and the truffle mac and cheese is a culinary delight not to be missed. Breakfast at the restaurant the following morning was equally impressive, rounding out a dining experience that was both comforting and exquisite. The accommodations at The Kimpton Schofield Hotel were top-notch—comfortable beds, clean rooms equipped with deadbolts for added security, and a sense of genuine care from the staff. The front desk and valet service were particularly outstanding, contributing to a seamless stay. Looking forward to booking a suite on our next trip to Cleveland, I believe The Kimpton Schofield Hotel has truly become our "home away from home" when we're in town for appointments at the Clinic.

This is an awful place. Kimpton should be ashamed to have this establishment as part of their brand. Elevators don’t work, people get stuck for literally half an hour at a time. The internet doesn’t work, and when you ask the front desk for help, they offer for you to call their wifi company… as if you work there! The maid service ignores DND signs and barges into rooms for unrequested cleanings. The towels are nice and crispy, kinda like floor rags. And when you ask the reception for any assistance they shrug their shoulders and keep it moving. Run far away…

Having stayed at multiple Kimpton properties this is by far the worst I have ever seen. Housekeeping is abysmal. Staff is mostly disinterested in their guests. I would avoid this hotel. Note that the hotel does not respond to any reviews. That says a lot.

I wish it was possible to give their service more stars. We've been staying here for years, it's proximity to everything in downtown is awesome, and their team is absolutely phenomenal. Could not recommend more.Rooms: Very clean and very niceWalkability: Close to Rocket Mortgage and Jack Casino
