Just ate a whole large soup from here in 5 minutes. I don't even like soup!

Amazing walnut raisin levain. Delicious taste and plenty of walnuts. Street parking. The staff was friendly but didn't ask if I wanted my head sliced, I attribute this to them being busy though - there was a line out the door at 9am on a Thursday so get there early! Small seating area and coffee with oat milk offered.

On the Rise is a shining-gem bakery and café. Exceptional fresh-baked breads including sourdough and true French baguettes. The baguette sandwiches including the tofu bánh mi, pork bán mi, ham and gruyère, and turkey are beyond perfection. And the Jennifer cookie, I’m sorry, is simply the greatest chocolate-chip cookie on the planet.Vegetarian options: Eat the tofu bán mi baguette sandwich. You won’t believe how good it is.

The best bread bakery , probably in a hundred miles perimeter. It's a pitty that they won't slice the bread for you.

I used to eat here a lot in the morning when I rode the train to work it USED to be delightful and delicious how ever the past couple times I’ve been here the lady was rude and very unpleasant acting as if I was a inconvenience on account of my order she’s rude I wouldn’t recommend ording while she’s there I watch her get more and more agitated with every order until it was my turn when she actually flat face lied to me and said that she did not have what I ordered, so I ordered something else, and I made her very angry. My food was cold and shoved at me across the counter I hope she see this

Listen we LOVE on the rise. It’s our neighbor. We’re there all the time. But I can’t hold back anymore about the poison that they call coffee. It’s undrinkable to me. I honestly don’t know how employees can drink it without grimacing. But we will never stop patronizing because of the amazing service, bread, and pastries.

I just moved to the Cleveland Heights neighborhood recently and immediately began exploring for the best spots. On the Rise has quickly become one of my favorite places in the area. Every time I have gone, there is a line, but it moves quickly. On my first visit, the staff was kind and helpful, pointing me to their best sellers and favorites. So far I haven't had a bad thing - all of the food is delicious and fresh. I look forward to trying all of the breads (and there are a lot to choose from for sure!) and working my way through the pastries. My top pastry recommendation so far is the Kouign-amann, which is buttery and has a crisp sugar edge to it. On the Rise is an adorable neighborhood spot. There isn't space to come in and hang out, but there are benches and picnic tables along the sidewalk to enjoy your breakfast!

Oh my, how have we not been here before. Nestled in a lovely neighborhood, with delightful staff and absolutely decadent food eye candy. The baked items we enjoyed were masterful and it is evident the bakers here excel at their trade. Make the drive and indulge yourself, you deserve it

Baguettes, sticky buns, cinnamon raisin bread and lemon blueberry tart in season. Best reason for a line.
