I had a great experience with Parma movers and they were a huge help for my move, which I know I could not have accomplished without them. The scheduling and estimate were easy, communication was great, the movers were friendly and timely. The amount of time saved and peace of mind was well worth it and highly recommend them. I don’t plan on ever moving again, but if I do, I’ll call them up again!

I had a negative experience with another local moving company that cancelled on me the day of my move. I had to quickly find somewhere new and discovered Parma Movers from a passing truck on the highway. I have since used them for 2 separate moves and both were great experiences. The movers are quick and efficient, very careful with your belongings, and extremely friendly. I did not have a single broken, damaged, or missing item in either move. They are prompt and give you a heads up phone call when they are on their way, which is very helpful. The company itself has great customer service, very reasonable pricing, and extremely fast scheduling. I will always recommend Parma Movers!

NEVER EVER recommending using these as your movers, here’s why;
1. Missing Items:
The most concerning issue was the disappearance of the bolts for our dining table. This is a clear indication of negligence or potential theft. We strongly advise against using this moving service unless you are prepared to potentially lose your belongings.
2. Non-efficient of the Move:
Our apartment was a 600 sqft one-bedroom unit, with minimal furniture. Given the short distance (5 minutes) to our new location, we anticipated a smooth and efficient moving process. However, the movers seemed to be working at an unusually slow pace, taking excessive time to move each item downstairs. After two hours, the only items moved were two pieces of a couch, a dining table with six chairs, and a desk. We were informed that moving the bed would take additional time due to a lack of appropriate equipment, and they were taking one item at a time, which significantly prolonged the process.
3. Lunch Break:
The office initially stated that they do not take a lunch break, yet we observed them taking a coffee break in their vehicle. When we reported this to the office, the response was dismissive and unprofessional. The office staff denied the claim, and the representative we spoke with was particularly rude, implying that our concerns were unfounded. This lack of transparency and poor customer service left us frustrated.

These movers were awesome! Super friendly from the start and just insanely fast. They got everything packed up and moved way quicker than we expected, but still handled all our stuff with a ton of care—nothing got damaged at all. They made the whole process feel easy and way less stressful. Plus, the price was really reasonable. Honestly just a great experience all around. Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing help with a move.

I have used Parma Movers locally twice in the past with the last time being over 10 years ago. I hired them again this past summer for our move to Florida. Rich came by for the estimate where we walked room to room and I showed him everything we planned to move. The estimate came a few hours later after our meeting - the price quoted was the max regardless of final weight of goods, but the price could be less if the final weight was less. Our final delivery price came in about $1k under estimate, even after purchasing the replacement value insurance. PM will not guarantee any particle board furniture. They would not move my hot tub but did move my piano. We decided to schedule the move in mid -September to save in the offseason. I was not there on moving day or delivery day, and had to leave it all to my wife. She packed her own boxes except for two big screen TVs to save money. I was nervous about the final weight as I know my wife added many boxes and items I didn't initially identify during the estimate meeting with Rich. Rich (a different Rich) and crew were amazing per my wife and our goods were delivered just over a week later in Florida. I waited to write a review until I could see my new home myself. Literally perfection! They did an absolute wonderful move from start to finish and I would certainly recommend Parma Movers for your next move. I called Michelle at the office to let her know how pleased I was and promised to write this review. The industry is hit and miss because you risk dealing with a broker who then low bids out the job - which is a big reason why I chose Parma Movers.

Excellent communication, reasonable price and the crew is careful and efficient. Had some difficult items to move and they packaged them properly and everything was delivered safely. Using for a second move and for any other moving needs from here on out.

The absolute most horrific experience ever with dealing with a company, especially with the main office person Sharon D. WOW, stay away and use another company. Light damage on brand new house (didnt make a big deal of it, the movers did work hard), but the dealings with the office was horrible. Please stay away.

I do not recommend these people to help you move. Unprofessional. They took two hours with their second trip back to my old house.. went to my old house which is a five minute drive from my new one just to see one of them sitting in the truck taking a lunch break and the other one taking a dump in my bathroom. (Which they flooded btw) then today I went to the old property to take pictures to send them to the realtor just to see that they caused significant damages to my laundry room door that required a contractor to come and replace the whole door. I’ve reached out via email and tried to call them just to get the phone hung up on. “Locally owned” “family owned” yeah they take honest and truthful criticism to the heart. I will be calling my credit card company and seeing you guys in court very soon. You guys took over 5 hours moving two bedroom sets and caused over 5k in damages to just my old house! Then ruined my 3k washer and drier! Didn’t ever set up / reassemble the bedrooms properly! Flooded both bathrooms in the old house. You guys are terrible and I have all the emails. Call logs and pictures all documented. As well as your employees/ husband and son doing nothing for TWO HOURS. terrible terrible terrible

We recently used Parma Movers to assist in our office space move. Our experience was truly above and beyond from our initial meeting with Rich to the actual moving day experience. We highly recommend them for residential or commercial moves. They were timely, respectful and went above and beyond to be sure our needs were met. We were amazed at how efficient they were and were complete with the move in less than half a day that would have certainly taken us several days. Thank you for assisting in our move and for the great experience.

I was so disappointed when I called to schedule my move. I have used Parma movers many times over the years and expected the same level of kindness, but that didn't happen. I was told they would not have my records because it was over 2 years (which they always could find me), I was told I couldn't request a certain mover (which I always did) and giggled at because my move wasn't until April and I was scheduling. I asked if someone was going to be contacting me about my move and was told No. I am not expecting special treatment but I came to trust Parma Movers and I will be searching for someone else. I have called a few others and they were very kind on the phone which anyone should expect.

This is our first time using a moving company, and I would recommend this company to everyone who is moving. They sent 3 guys, David , Caleb, and Nick, who were very efficient and quick. They did a fantastic job taking apart our king-size bed and putting it back together. This company had a very good hourly rate and didn't gouge us.
