PODS gave me a quote for the total price of moving and storage. Later I found out that the price that they quoted as the total was not the total. It did not include container rental which is $259 per month!! If you have the container for even one day you must pay one month’s rent. They do not prorate.
They will not communicate with their drivers or their customers. Their driver has to call me to figure out where I lived because they put in the wrong address for container pick up! Thank goodness I didn’t end up using this company! I can’t imagine where my belongings would have ended up. The disorganization and lack of communication are appalling.
If you open a dispute with PODS you will NEVER RECEIVE A RESPONSE!
I asked the driver if PODS was always this disorganized. He said “Since they started the call center it has gotten really bad. Usually the drivers can make up for the call center’s mistakes, but not always.”

PODS has mismanaged my order from the very start and has been difficult to work with for the entirety of our business. I scheduled and paid for a cross country shipping arrangement and was hassled on delivery at both locations. It took multiple hours and phone calls to badger PODS into doing the bare minimum, not even honoring our paid contract and showing up hours later. The ONLY saving grace were the review staff that were able to refund a portion of my bill. I DO NOT RECOMMEND unless this business is absolutely your ONLY option.

PRO: Storage PODS are a good way to store belongings between moves.
CON: PODS does not do a good job of scheduling pick up or drop off time to meet customer needs

Perfect solution! I didn’t have to make a million trips to a storage unit. Delivery, storage and pick up was punctual, secure and effortless. I would definitely use again but hope I won’t have to.

I would definitely use Pods again if I needed to. The only change that I would recommend is to call or reach out two weeks before you need something picked up, or moved not 3 days as I was told.

if first time using, be prepared that your pickup n drop off spaces have enough clearance. this is not a roll off dumpster

Delivery and pickup of the POD was fine, the driver was helpful and polite. The rest of our experience was not good. When we wanted the POD picked up, when we finally closed on our house, the made use wait 4 days before the pickup up the POD. We had to put in a request and wait 72 hours to get a response. When they finally picked it up, it was late Thursday and delivered it to the new house then we had till Friday to unload and they would pick the empty POD on Friday. I hired 2 movers to empty the POD from 9am-12pm. They were done by 10:45. The driver was here at 9:30am.
Now he can't pickup, ans he said he would reschedule for Saturday, we'll that did not happen. I called again, and they said they would put in a request for Sunday and they DENIED that. They charged me another month and didn't pick up until 2:00 on Monday.
Not Happy at all!!!
