Sleepy Hollow Golf Course is a beautiful, natural, and peaceful setting with great terrain changes, offering a very challenging but enjoyable golf experience. It is considered a top echelon course with a fantastic, first-class, and welcoming environment. The course features a ton of movement in the land, creating interesting shot variety, and is in great shape with magnificent turf and perfectly groomed bunkers. However, it is very challenging, especially the greens, which are described as the hardest in the area—they are sloped, fast, well-protected, and have significant break, often leading to multiple putts. The rough is long and tough. The course presents blind holes, severe slopes around the greens where balls can be lost, and is not really suitable for short hitters. It offers amazing value for the price, being one of the best values for golf anywhere. The customer service from the pro shop, bag drop, and starter is fantastic and great. The driving range is good and easy to use. Some noted drawbacks include no water coolers on the course, no beverage cart, minimal yardage markers, carts without GPS, a lack of sand bottles on carts for divots, and some fairways having lots of divots. Despite these gripes, it is a solid value golf course, an incredible track, and is highly recommended for those seeking a challenging yet rewarding round.
