We were really excited to try TOLI tonight, we came around 8:30, sat on the patio and ordered drinks, we put a food order in at 8:45 for two entrees and salads. We continued to wait, she came back and got my husband another drink around 9:20. A table was sat next to us after our order went in and we noticed at 9:30 they got their food before we did, not just salads but their entrees. From 9:45-10:10 the waitress didn't come to check on anyone on the patio. At 10pm my husband went to ask where our food was and the waitress said she never put it in. We are beyond disappointed and frustrated we waited for over an hour for food that never came nor were we given an opportunity to ask earlier where our food was and there was no effort to rush our order. We were really excited to trying TOLI tonight and were really looking forward to our meals just to be extremely disappointed by no meal and bad service. We won't be back.

I came here a while back for a burger and a beer on a Saturday night, and was seated quite quickly. After I placed my order, I sat back and relaxed. My beer came soon after, and I eagerly waited for my food. After an hour had elapsed, the waitress came back and said that the kitchen was backed up, hence the delay. After another half hour, still no signs of food. Other tables were also waiting, and the waitress provided free drinks as an apology to the other table. Finally, after two hours of waiting, I finally received my meal, albeit with no apologies or makeup for the wait, even though every other table received a beverage as a form of compensation. The burger itself was good, although the flatbread that my girlfriend ordered was very subpar. Overall very unpleasant experience, and I will not be coming back.

The food itself was solid and filling. I ordered a burger that left me satisfied. The fries weren't particularly interesting. I also shared a pasta dish and tried a flatbread that were also fine. Although I visited on a Sunday afternoon, the service was pretty slow. Our server was very nice but we waited for our food for more than 30 minutes when there were maybe only 4 other tables present. This seems like a fun place to hang out because there's food, a bar, and multiple TVs for sports.

Wonderful little restaurant in "Little Italy" in Cleveland, OH... Great Italian dishes in a early 20th century atmosphere! Close to all that this quaint area has to offer!

Came here Saturday for brunch/lunch at around 11am. Nice to see one restaurant open around 11 while most restaurant in little Italy open at noon. Things were quiet and one server did food and cocktails and she did a great job! Super sweet and quick. Love the variety of mule drink options! Food was good, nothing crazy but also nothing wrong with it. Lunch/brunch prices are extremely reasonable.

Found TOLI to be one of the few spots open the night of a big snowstorm, so we stopped in. The front of house is unassuming, with a significant bar and few tables. There's also outdoor seating for warmer months. We were looking for mom-n-pop old school Italian, and our chosen spot was closed. We were greeted warmly and seated. I had a glass of Jefferson's Ocean bourbon, and we ordered the meatball appetizer. It was unique in presentation. Three deep-friend meatballs with parsley and marinara. Inside them was breadcrumbs, mozzarella, and spaghetti (all inside the meatball). This was our first sign that this wasn't a bar that served Italian as an afterthought. I ordered the chicken fettuccini; girlfriend had the pasta cavatelli. The salads were simple but fresh, with shredded mozzarella and tomatoes, and banana peppers. My fettuccini was creamy and flavorful. The chicken breast was grilled and flavorful. Girlfriend's cavatelli was good; marinara had good flavor. The menu advertised them as ricotta filled; she could've wished for a little more ricotta, but that was splitting hairs. Great evening, and we were surprised by how good the food was, given our first impression that it was a burger-fries bar in Little Italy.

I love TOLI, definitely one of the less pretentious places in Little Italy, but it doesn't pretend to be anything that it isn't. This is the neighborhood spot for a good time and cheap drinks to just hang out with your friends (or for a casual date). They often have live music on the weekends too, and have a perfect backyard patio when it's warm out! Just be warned that it can get crowded during late weekend nights, but also a great place to mix and mingle, and when they aren't packed service is great. As for food, you can't go wrong with their calzones, which are prepped in the morning and freshly bake on order, or the burgers which are pretty standard, but hard to find anywhere else in little italy, or most of the other appetizers. If you're looking for pasta or other dishes, probably best to venture elsewhere in the neighborhood.

Toli's is the only place in the neighborhood of Little Italy that serves a "Burger" and a variety of delicious appetizers, salads, pastas, calzones I must say their burgers are so very delicious with a variety of choices. The Bartenders & Staff are all so amazing always making our visit and my ESA (Hugo) visit thoroughly enjoyable! We look forward to our visits at Toli for my burger fix!! I must add they also offer a nice wine selection as well! This is a must visit spot for sure!

I frequented TOLI many times before. I used to come weekly during trivia nights. I always thought the food and drinks were mediocre at best, but the trivia nights and decent atmosphere made it a convenient place to grab some drinks with friends. I've gotten their cocktails, flatbreads, wings, pasta, etc. before. Their best items were their wings and burgers. Don't get the pasta. However, after my recent experience, I will not be going back. I've gotten their burgers a few times before. If anything, their burgers are normally the safest and best option on the menu. I always get my burger medium rare. This time, my patty was completely raw in the middle, only seared on the surface. I showed them the raw meat and they took it back to the kitchen, no apologies whatsoever. I didn't expect much, but I definitely did not think they were just going to microwave the whole burger to 'cook it through'. It was obviously microwaved because the bun and veggies were completely soggy. The photo below is the meat after being microwaved- not as raw anymore, but still not properly cooked. (Unfortunately, I was so upset I didn't get a photo of the raw meat, only after they gave it back to me microwaved. It was disappointing because the taste of the Edgehill burger with the garlic aioli sauce was decent, but the upset stomach I had the day after did not make up for it. I did not get any sort of apology or compensation--only a soggy burger. I ate some of the fries and the burger bun, but avoided the meat thereafter because it was just bad. On top of that, my friend paid with cash, almost $20 more than his overall total, and didn't even get his change back. He had to go ask for his change back. My other friend got fettucine alfredo with chicken and only finished the chicken because the fettucine itself was worse than a frozen meal. Oh, and the fries that come with the burger are worse than the frozen fries you would get at the grocery store because they aren't even served hot. Drinks are okay- the alcohol is strong so there's that. My other friends got the salmon and they didn't complain. Overall, it was an extremely disappointing experience and after many dinners at TOLI, I definitely will not be back.

Best meal experience we have had in a long time. Every dish was perfect. The service was fantastic. The live music was not overwhelming at all. It was a great atmosphere. Thank you.

good drinks, just understaffed like everyone right now, we never got a server at our table and had to go get drinks ourselves. hopefully they can hire more servers soon cause the place is nice and we'll put together
