As a YMCA member, I was told by the front desk staff that daytime parking is free. I visited on Tuesday at 10:20 AM, checked in and properly validated my parking as instructed. However, when I exited around 12:30 PM, the parking gate charged me $17.
This is completely unacceptable. I trusted the information provided by the staff, followed all procedures, and still ended up being charged. When I approached the front desk for help, there was zero support or accountability.
YMCA is supposed to promote a community-first attitude, but this experience felt like the opposite—misinformation, lack of assistance, and a waste of my time and money. Fix your parking validation process and train your staff to provide consistent and accurate information.
Extremely disappointed.

I work out at the Y every morning, and it’s been awesome! The facility is always clean, the equipment is in great shape, and there’s plenty of variety for different types of workouts. The atmosphere is positive and welcoming, which makes it a great way to kick off the day. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable place to stay fit!”

Do not enroll your children in the programs they have to offer at any of the greater Cleveland before/after cares or summer camps. I was employed there for a year and I was told constantly by the supervisors of each program I floated to and from and the one I was at to cover up incident reports, there were several counselors yelling and cussing at the kindergartners, first graders, second graders, third graders, fourth and fifth graders and there were instances where a few of the counselors abused the kids and we were told by the ymca to keep it on the hush. I was also disrespected because I was lied on about my departure from this insanity. I quit but I was constantly told by several people there was a letter sent out about me. That’s disrespectful and very sick because I dedicated all of my time and put my life on hold for these people who can do sick things to these children and lie about money and promises for kids but only cared about a paycheck. If you need a daycare center, please ask your family or close friends to watch your children. The ymca should be shut down for the things that were going on behind closed doors.

Great day camp for the little ones. They going swimming, on field trips, and a lot of time spent outside. Really understanding when my payment was late.

This is the worst experience. Sadly my children love to attend because they can be with their friends.The supervisor Carissa Lambert is horrible - she does not actually supervise anything.Her staff lie to parents and she does nothing to intervene. I do not recommend!!!
