“I've brought 2 cats here recently. The first one was my baby Nathan, an 11 year old cat who was losing weight rapidly, refusing t eat, etc. I had taken him to VCA since I'd been taking our other cats there and they would not tell me what was wrong with him. They kept pushing that he had IBS, which he clearly didn't. They just didn't want to tell me he was dying. I took him to Dr. Rosing, who did an exam and bloodwork, and gave me an honest answer on what was wrong with him. It was very sad to lose him, but I appreciated an honest vet. Last week I took his brother Nelson in because of issues with the box and going outside it with weight loss. I was worried it was the same thing and VCA had previously diagnosed him with IBS (it seems to be their go to?) and after an exam and blood test, turns out he has diabetes, something fairly easy to treat that explains all of his symptoms. Don't go to corporate vets, got to places like this that actually care about your pets and you! The younger lady vet who saw Nelson was so sweet with him and I really like her!”
