“Best pharmacy in town, without question, IMO. They process prescriptions very quickly & the wait time is minimal. I’ve used them, exclusively, for the last 8-10 years & don’t plan on ever changing that. Every employee that I’ve encountered in that time has been extremely friendly & welcoming. And, they couldn’t be more helpful. They will bend over backwards & go above & beyond for their customers. I can attest to that, personally. They’ve treated me wonderfully & have helped me when they didn’t have to. And, I’m eternally grateful. I couldn’t recommend them enough.

“Glad we have it. Have came here for years. Older staff that has been there for years and very kind. The newer/younger workers aren't as kind. Need people skills training!The phone in to pharmacy is a nightmare! As I've complained for over a year regarding it, I've found out that the poor pharmacy employees have to experience it as well when calling another CVS. Why in Heaven's name is this phone call so annoying? Find a real person to answer this very important call. People calling into the actual pharmacy should not be put through so much stress. I realize this is corporate. Shame on corporate!! Re-evaluate this phone situation. It's enough to make Walmart or Kroger appealing, since my husband is actually a Walmart employee and I could save money. Over the years we have not used medscripts to keep local people employed and CVS in town. This phone in answering situation is enough to make me rethink this.”
“My experience with Walmart Pharmacy was Excellent! Staff and Pharmacist, Ms. Jenkins was helpful in having my medication scripts switched from Krogers to Walmart in Boyd Co was seamless. Ms. Jenkins took time to explain my medications and is willing to contacts my PCP for refills. I feel Ms. Jenkins is vested in my health & wellness. I am incredibly thankful for the professional & caring team. Highly recommend this pharmacy. Thank You!”

“Very clean store. Very well laid out and easy to navigate around. But it's still Walmart so to big but not much we can do any that if we want those low prices, right! No one stopped me at the door to check for a receipt so that's awesome!”

“I love shopping at Sam’s. I don’t remember a bad experience. However, there was good reviews online for the optical department. But that was not the case. My husband and I are senior citizens. I was told the cash price for a visit was $100. Fortunately, I had Humana vision insurance. So, after the visit the optometrist took a copy of my insurance card and charged me and my husband $75 for a visit. I was told I would get a refund after the insurance paid. The insurance paid $101 and I paid $75. So as a senior citizen I paid $75 more than if I would have paid cash. Nick Webers webpage stated he took what Medicare paid. Not true. He took advantage of senior citizens. What kind of person does that. I will never use Sam’s optical services again.”

“I drove down to the Ashland area from Cincinnati & was looking for gas, so naturally, I stopped at Kroger. While inside, I joked to myself that I was visiting from the home office, since Kroger is based in Cincinnati. (They can't all be winners, folks.)Anyway, I wasn't looking for anything in particular, as I was still a couple hours from home, but I grabbed a Dr. Pepper for the drive. I used the self checkout, so I didn't really interact with anyone, but I was in & out pretty quickly.”

“The pharmacy that I have used for the past five years is no longer in business. Being that I have malabsorption issues from a weight loss surgery 25 years ago, there are some medications that I simply do not absorb which obviously makes them ineffective. Often this is due to fillers that are used by certain manufacturers. When I looked for a new pharmacy I had to let the pharmacists know that this was a problem in the past for me with one particular medication. This store offered to special order the medication for me from another supplier and was so kind, helpful, friendly and understanding that they should win an award! I am so very grateful and happy that I found them and have to give them the 5 star salute on here!”

Fortunately I got the chance to speak to Joe, who took the time out from his busy schedule to combine discount cards & get my medicine down to a price I could afford! Why didnt anyone else do this?! :( Thanks a million Joe ur great in what you do!”
“I never liked going here before because it seemed like they were always grouchy and nobody helped you find anything. But they hired a new woman and her name is Genny. Oh my gosh she was sent from heaven above! She would actually take me to the item I needed and show me everything around it in case there was a better one or a cheaper price. I never had done this self checkout and she actually did it all for me so I would know what to do next time. This woman is a godsend and I hope they keep her there for a very long time!”

“The people in the Pharmacy were wonderful tonight in helping me. Especially Chevy. She is always so pleasant, polite and very helpful. She goes above and beyond the call of duty. She definitely deserves a raise. The Pharmacist is exceptional too. I have some problems with some prescriptions that wasn’t my fault or his. The Dr wrote them wrong. And he has worked patiently and diligently to help me figure it out. This is just a wonderful place. With wonderful employees that need to be recognized. Thank you for all you do me.
