The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Emergency Room receives mixed feedback. Many patients report very nice, super friendly, helpful, and amazing staff, including nurses and doctors who listen, take concerns seriously, explain everything, and provide swift care. Positive notes include a good shuttle service and helpful reception. However, some experiences mention significant ER wait times, occasional difficulties obtaining basic items like blankets, and staff that can seem slightly distant. There are also strict protocols for patient confidentiality that can prevent visitor access, even for concerned family members. While care is generally praised, some operational aspects and consistency in attentiveness are noted as areas for improvement.
Just wanted to shoutout everyone here. I was alone and had to come here, and everyone was so nice to me. They got me fixed up quickly and the security guard outside even walked me to my ride to make sure i was safe. Thanks for being so kind to me!

Thsi is the second time my wife has been left sitting in a hallway in the ER without a room assigned. No medicine, no nurses, one Dr. stopped by and we have not heard anything since. If this is the state of health care in this country, we are all in trouble.
