Great old fashioned hardware store. Plenty of parking even though it's right in the City of Columbus.

Marks not very helpful. Talks down to you rather then trying to help

Irs a bit small but its a great location if you need a random tool or screwdriver. They will duplicate keys for you there and they dont ask any questions.

You would think that if you brought the screw you need more of, with you and gave it to the guy working there; AND told him you need that screw; maybe he'd match it or tell you they don't have it. Not waste your time and money giving you what I believe he knew was the wrong ones. Or, of course, he could have just been blind. But then, he worked the register just fine.

Staff was very friendly, one of them helped me mount a curtain rod in a manner that didn't involve purchasing a $60 drill that I would only have used once.

Every time I’ve gone into this store, the staff has been really helpful and friendly.Today they saved my butt by being able to make a working copy of a broken (at the edge of the head) key!! I highly recommend shopping here!

The absolute best place to buy quality hardware. Helpful, knowledgeable staff. A little more costly than big depot store but the nails don't bend and screw heads won't strip.

I am glad that Schreiner Ace Hardware [at 2585 N. High St.] is there.Schreiner Ace Hardware had been my "main" hardware store for many years though I would occasionally go to the now-closed Ackers Hardware [at 1204 N. High St.] if I happened to be in that area.More recently, I had to stop driving; also around that time, Nutter Hardware opened in the Kingsdale Shopping Center in Upper Arlington. Nutter Hardware is a six-minute walk from my apartment so I now usually go there. However, not every hardware store has everything.I remember doing a Google search for LED "Christmas Tree" "night light" bulbs recently and finding them [at least "on-line"] at Schreiner Ace Hardware but not at Nutter Hardware. Also, not all hardware stores are arranged in the same way.I had been walking past Schreiner Ace Hardware recently [on 8-15-2022] while walking from Clintonville to the University District so I stopped by for a brief visit just to look around [and to take some photographs for Google Maps].I told the guy behind the counter when entering the store that I was mostly a "tourist" but that I might find something that I need.I wandered around Schreiner Ace Hardware for the next fifteen minutes or so, not looking for anything in particular [and also taking photographs for Google Maps]; sure enough; I found something that I might need so I bought it.
