On August 12th, I purchased a (Black) BMW 750LI 2008 from Auto Auction and its been a nightmare ever since. The day I purchased the vehicle, I Drove to Columbus from Dayton to take a look at the BMW. I test drove the vehicle and it rode pretty well so I decided to purchase the vehicle(paid cash for the vehicle). Literally 10 minutes after the purchase,I went to get gas so I could drive the vehicle back to Dayton. When I was pulling off from the gas station, I noticed smoke coming from the exhaust and the coolant light popped on. I IMMEDATELY took the car back to Auto Auction and explained the situation to the gentleman whom sold me the vehicle. During the process of making the sale, the salesman was friendly, but when I went back (10 minutes after purchasing the BMW) the same gentleman that was friendly begun to become very rude. He got very upset that I was there asking for my money back and he stated he definitely would not give me my money back. He told me to drive the BMW home and if its still having the issue, bring it back the following week when his mechanic was available. I expressed over and over that I didn't think it was fair that he keeps my money and this could have potentially been a major problem and only 10 mins after the purchase of the vehicle. I also expressed that I didn't feel comfortable driving a vehicle with a coolant leak a hour away back to Dayton. I managed to get the car home safely and took it to BMW 2 days after. The vehicle had a major coolant leak in 2 different places which cost over $1,000 to repair. I told myself I would just consider it as a lost and wouldn't complain about it again... 30 days later, I was still waiting on the title of the vehicle. I reached out to Auto Auction and spoke with the owner of the shop and he told me there was something wrong with the name on the title and that they corrected the issue and he would be mailing it out the next day. The owner also agreed to reimburse me 50% of my money from the repairs to the coolant leak and said the check would be with the title. 2 weeks later, I still hadn't received the title nor the check in the mail. I reached back out to Auto Action and now they were saying the Vin # was incorrect on the title. I let them know that in the state of Ohio, the law states a dealership has 30 days to issue out a title to a new car and after 45 days their obligated to reimburse the money back for the vehicle. They still insisted they would be sending out the title. I waited another week and still no title. I tried multiple times to speak to the owner of Auto Auction and after a week of trying, I still haven't been successful, I still haven't received a title, and I still haven't received a reimbursement check for the repairs. Finally they agreed to reimburse me for the purchase price of the vehicle and every time I call and asked "is today a good day to bring the car back", they tell me No. Its been 70+ days, I don't have tags for the vehicle, I don't have a title, and I have a vehicle that I paid 7,000 dollars for that I cant drive and haven't drove in over 2 weeks! I am very upset at how I've been treated by Auto Auction and I just want this nightmare to be OVER!

UPDATE: On November 4, I returned back to Auto auction because they finally agreed to return my money for the BMW. I asked Carl (the owner) was he still going to reimburse me for the repairs I made to the coolant system (he previously agreed to reimburse me 50%) and he told me no. He also wanted me to sign a Hold Harmless Agreement Form (a form so I wouldn't sue him for the 1,000+ dollars I put into the vehicle). He stated if I didn't agree to sign the form then he would keep the money for the vehicle. I told him I'd just take him to court. He then pulled out an Arbitration Agreement I signed during the time I purchased the vehicle. Mr. Carl became very rude and stated several times "MY POCKETS RUN DEEP". He also told me that he has multiple lawyers and I will lose in Arbitration. I'm still stuck fighting this battle to get a reimbursement of my money. I've filed my forms for arbitration, I met with my lawyer whom agreed to send a letter to the dealership on my behave, and also I'm scheduled to do a news interview with the Columbus local news station.
