James Dunn was fantastic to work with. He was patient and accommodating in dealing with a pair of Dalton boots that were not fitting.I had purchased the boots online, but when there was a problem, James stood by the product and helped me figure out what was happening.With a few tweaks, I now have a pair of Daltons that look and fit great.Thank you, James!

I went in to try on shoes and worked with James D. He helped me figure out my size, gave me pointers on shoes styles, and I ended up buying a pair of AE Fifth Aves. Two weddings later they are a great fit, needed no breaking in, and look great!

Keith provided the most excellent and knowledgeable service I’ve ever received in my years of purchasing dress shoes. He was thoughtful, meticulous, and truly ensured that I purchased the right product for my needs. When I need another pair of shoes, I’ll make the drive to Columbus to buy from Keith as long as he’s here.

Where to begin. Drove almost an hour to get to their Polaris store outside Columbus, OH just to ensure I got a pair that fit well, because shoemakers fitments can vary. They didn't have a size that fit (slightly wide), so they ordered them for me. I paid using debit with my PIN. The shoes arrived to my home and didn't fit. At this point I was bummed, but not upset. I realize things don't always go according to plan. I contacted customer service who emailed me a return label and I mailed them in for a refund. Customer service stipulated that I MUST send in the original receipt, so I scanned a copy for my own records. That was in April. They received the shoes June 6th, 2022. This was evidenced by both the tracking and an email from customer service saying that they received the shoes and were processing my return. I've called multiple times to ask what the status is and nobody can tell me anything except that they don't process debit refunds electronically; that I'll receive a check in the mail. It's 2022, but ok. Every time I call they tell me not to worry, and that I should have a check within a couple weeks. It's now August 19th and still nothing. They were technologically advanced enough to take my money instantaneously at the time of sale, but not technologically sophisticated enough to get me refund. We're approaching 11 weeks now.

If you want a high quality leather men's dress shoe, this is a place to go. However, some years ago the original owner and creator sold it to outside company. They still make quality leather shoes with leather tanned on the inside to keep your feet cool and a good quality calf leather outer upper along with Goodrich stitched souls. These shoes will last you 20 years. You can get them resold You can put new heels on them. If you want a quality leather shoe, This is a good place to go. You will pay a quality luxury price but you'll never have to buy another. They've been around for over a hundred years. My father used to wear them and purchase these shoes for me. I literally still have a pair from almost 30 years ago.

I work in retail and would not post a negative review toward another struggling business during a pandemic unless the circumstances were really bad. I called this store because the website was having a sale but I wanted to try some shoes on in-store. The manager said none of them were in stock without even hearing all of the pairs I liked. So I asked if I could order them and have them shipped to the store because I can't receive packages at my apartment building. He said "I'm not sure what the point of that would be" but agreed to let me. I ordered two pairs and they shipped separately. When I went to pick up the first pair, the employee working was unbelievably rude. It was the worst customer service I've ever received in my life, anywhere. I had just finished trying on the shoes, which were too big, and expressed concern about the second pair arriving because FedEx delivers before the store opens. He remarked that "it isn't our job to recommend shoes for you to buy online. We work on commission." He also refused to measure my shoe size so I could get a different pair because "those services are only for people who shop in-store so that we make money." Maybe if he had been nice I WOULD have bought a pair in-store. I even tried to ask him about some of the pairs they had, but he had clearly made up his mind that he wasn't helping me. I commented that, working in retail myself, it's inappropriate to mention your commission to a customer especially when the customer is new and has no idea you work on commission. He said "we feel it's appropriate." Not to mention he denigrated the shoes I had ordered as "not really Allen Edmonds" because they didn't have the cork insole. Not sure how this makes sense. I immediately asked for a refund. As of now he has only refunded the first pair and the saddle soap I ordered, since the second pair haven't arrived. I will not shop with this company again. Abhorrent, unprofessional behavior and bullying on the part of two different employees. I will definitely be contacting the company to let them know.

If you need a great pair dress shoes and you dont go see Keith Adam's here....then you are not getting the best knowledge and deal for your shoes. We needed to get shoes for me for our wedding, the experience was absolutely great and I will be coming back if I need shoes and sending all my family and friends

They tried to sell me the damaged display shoe without telling me, and made delivery promises they couldn't keep.
