Never ending green blinking light above bed. Sure fire safety is important, so is guest comfort, place alarm away from bed. Also rude staff pounding on door at 9am to say “just checking”. Pillows stink here like sunscreen.

This was a great stay. The room was well thought out, clean and comfortable.Rooms: The room was a big surprise. Everything was working, plenty of places to plug in, shower drain (which is a sore topic for me) was functioning perfectly. Overall the room was 10/10Walkability: Shopping, entertainment and food are all within walking distanceFood & drinks: Great range of food options in and around the hotel.

Management and staff were super helpful and courteous. Besides the location being great and very clean, I would stay there again just because of how wonderful the staff was.

Rooms: The fixtures were nice, the room was clean, and the location is in the heart of the shopping center. My room was on the 5th floor directly across from Pinns Mechanical, at times, I could hear the cheers and yelling from Pinns.

I booked a room from Expedia on 10/22 at 12:26am. The room was "Urban Room, 1 King Bed, Non Smoking, City View" for $233. 83. We arrived at Aloft shortly thereafter booking. We stood outside of the locked front door while a house keeping guy and receptionist just looked and took their time letting us in from the cold. Once inside I got to getting checked in when I realized my booking for check-in was at 3pm the following day. Done in haste and completely my mistake. I asked if I could just get checked into a room directly with her and I'd just cancel my Expedia reservation after. Her response was no. I needed to get in contact with Expedia to see if they could alter or cancel the booking first. I found that to be absurd but complied anyway. It was at least 25 minutes of trying to navigate through Expedia customer service representatives over the phone and through their website at the front counter while my fiancé was asleep on the couch in the lobby. Somehow after multiple transfers on the phone from a few different people, I ended up on the wrong line and/or in the wrong department. I got frustrated and hung up. At this point I told the lady working the front desk how I was frustrated and I was just going to find a room at another place since she wasn't able to help me. She asked me not to do that. She asked me to wait for her manager to come in for his shift to help. This lady was nice and polite, however, was completely unable to simply book a room and check us in despite the fact that they had several vacancies that evening. We waited several minutes before he came in, I believe his name was Jahar or Jafar. He was also very nice and polite. After a bit of conversation and going over options he began the booking and check in process for us. I was very grateful for his assistance and resolution. My issue with his assistance was that he said the same booking I had for the following day for $233.83 would be $307 for that night. At that point I didn't much care about that increase and I made him aware of that. Being an extremely well traveled person, I understand the difference in day to day rates. However, on that same note I kindly let him know how dissatisfied I was because of all of the many hotels I've been, I've never had such an issue getting into a room. Because of that dissatisfaction he gave us a complimentary breakfast card, which we chose not to use. I swiped my card and signed things very quickly without really any review at all because I desperately needed to get her to a place to rest. I looked at my email and account the next day to find that I was charged $574.58! $340.75 more than my Expedia booking for the following day and $267.58 more than he told me! I couldn't have been more dissatisfied with with my experience from the beginning. Minutes after finding that out the following morning while still in the room, my fiancé was still asleep when housekeeping came to the door. She knocked and said house keeping just 1 time! I didn't respond verbally because I didn't want to wake up my fiancé. Before I could even slip on a shirt while making my way to the door, house keeping was already opening the door while I still wasn't fully dressed after only announcing house keeping once. I was completely shocked that bad experience wasn't over yet. I felt unvalued and deceived from the night before but now I got to add the feeling of being violated to the experience. As Columbus natives, we visit and stay around the Easton area at least a few times a year and it's a shame that with such a beautiful still fairly new hotel, it seems to be staffed with folks that are unable to provide an acceptable stay experience. Again, everyone was friendly so I don't believe they were careless but I do believe that what are pretty universal hospitality standards are being completely missed here. I think there are lots of training and development opportunities here. I won't be back to find that hopeful improvement though as it is decently saturated hospitality

Our experience at the Aloft at Easton was awesome! Amari in guest relations was extremely helpful and kind throughout our stay. It was refreshing to see that level of care and attention given to guests. My wife and I both appreciate her and the Aloft for a wonderful weekend stay!

The beds were very comfortable, rooms were clean my only issue is the design of bathroom as I was sharing a room and there was no lock on bathroom door and sink is in the open so you have to wake up everyone when you get up to use bathroom. I was in room 401 which is handicap room and bathroom door was really hard for my mom to open and close with a walker and shower water faucet was really hard to adjust. Love the view and that the mall is right across the street plus a ton of restaurants nearby.

This hotel is in a great Easton location and boasts an open, welcoming and stylish lobby with pool table. My room had nice big windows that were facing establishments and periodically made me want to put down the shade, while keeping the main current up so I could get light through the shade but people in the restaurant across the street couldn't see me too well. Unfortunately, one of the windows was missing a shade. Otherwise, it was a nice room with chic loft-like decor. I like the nod to the cassette tape era as accent wallpaper. The one thing missing is it should have a stand in the toilet room to set down things you may need in there. Instead, it was just a toilet, that's it. On the disappointing side, the front desk said breakfast was free as a platinum Marriott Bonvoy member but then they charged me anyway on my credit card. I didn't have the energy to argue with them about $7.53, but they really need shouldn't charge people for something they said was supposed to be complimentary.

Just one BIG problem. It's right across the street from a 40, 000 sq ft, two-story indoor/outdoor bar with thumping music until 2:00am. Hint: there might be rooms facing away from the Pins Mechanical bar.

Easy to do business. Great access to airport and retail. Samba, a client facing associate, was superb in providing us with needed amenities. Will definitely recommend
