I went to return my $60 jeans because they don’t fit. I wore them once and they started to gap in the back. However, when I went to return them or even exchange them they said the tags have to be ATTACHED. That’s is so ridiculous because I had all the tags and the receipt and I literally bought them less than a week ago. You can’t even tell if jeans fit until you wear them anyways. So everyone be sure to keep the tags on the first time you wear them or you will lose out on $60+ and a pair of jeans. Also, the cashier wasn’t super friendly. Whole thing was stupid.

So, I went to AE today, grab a pair jeans went to check out, I’m standing behind a lady that was in line no one was on the other side later to find out the correct side of the entrance to the register, now mind you both cashiers notice me waiting, and when it was time for me I walked up to the cashier that just checked out the lady that was in front and she told me that the line is on the other side, so I waited on the side and went I walked up to her I asked her how she was able to take the lady in front of me and told me that the line is on the opposite side, she had no answer.

Get better dressing room mirrors, those things will 100% distort you. Who said “let’s make these mirrors at an angle” and thought that’d be a good idea

Im so upset that i even have to type a review this horrible as ive always loved this location, but the experience i had 2 days ago made me want to not ever return to an American eagle again. So i entered the store with my 12 daughter to return a pair of jeans an sweatshirt that her grandmother purchased for her for Christmas and the clothes didn't fit, especially the jeans as she is a 12 yr old girl. Her grandmother unfortunately could not locate the email with her proof of purchase ( shes my grandmother and 81 yrs old and dont know technology, she had someone help her order online and lives 7 hrs away) so i knew i probably wouldnt get back what she had initially paid for the items, but figured it would be atleast what they were on sale for. Long story short the guy took my number to lookup my account did the return and only gave 29.99 for the jeans an i questioned it an he asked if i wanted to just exchange the jeans for another pair and i said ill just take to credit for now and left to look for the jeans in store to see what the price was . Couldnt find them but sll jeans were 30 percent off so thats still not even 29.99 ( they were originally 59.99) i go back up end up getting a manager and she was so nasty with me. Pretty much summing it up she states that they are different than online pricing and that they wrre clearanced to the 30 in store. So i ask 4 tomes for her to show me whrre they were. Finally she says they are an online only item. So i explain how does that even make sense if tbey are ONLY SOLD ONLINE and NOT IN STORES how is that even possible for them to be kn salr for $30 in store snf $40 online. ( i had looked the item up online before I went back up for the manager). She could not give me an answer other than it’s different from online and was very rude, loud, and embarrassing trying to make it sound like j was jusf tryong to steal from the store or soemthing with my daughter right there. I feel as if she wad profiling me because i had mentioned soemthing about my wife, and i came in with a hoodie and sweat pants cause i had bern working on my house all day and had to get this returned quickly for my daughte cor christmas . And not only all that, they toook a bunch of points from my rewards from a purchase i fidnt make, i feel they did that on ourpose cause if i didn’t gove my nimber that would have never happened. Needless to say i left the store bawling my eyes out snd had a panic attack bc she embarrassed me and hurt ky feelings so bad eith my daughter right there , its not okay and this manager needs to not be there if she treats people that way, i will mever return. If you wre aoart of the LGBT do not go to this location you wjll be profiled, and definitely dont go in there with comfortable clothes cause you will be followrd snf profiled as well . So disappointing in a company i strongly loved and tbought supported my community.

The most uncomfortable shopping experience I ever had was at the american eagle at the Polaris shopping center. You don't get asked if you need help with anything as a black person. You just get watched as if you're there to steal something. Because black money is no money, It's dust. The 1.5 billion dollars that African Americans put into the economy on a yearly basis is dust. American Eagle won't be getting any of that money anymore. They can keep their $59 shirts and there overpriced jeans.. Let me continue to make Amazon wealthy. I enjoy shopping at amazon. I will not be discriminated against for my Beautiful black skin. Cancel racism it's gotten old and pathetic

Cancel racism it's gotten old and pathetic. Stop racial profiling black people. We put 1.5 billion dollars into the economy on a yearly basis, it's helps pay for your job and put food on your table.

I was blown away by the customer service. Everyone was friendly, eager to help, but not pushy. It was a very refreshing experience!

I went in yesterday to find some jeans for myself since I haven’t had any in a long time. I was also fearful of not finding anything that would fit. Most women know the struggle of shopping for clothes and trying to find good fitting clothes. But as soon as I walked in, I was greeted by this amazingly sweet girl who asked if she could help me find anything. I explained to her I had no idea what size I wore in jeans anymore since I just had a baby last year and just wore leggings. She pointed out some styles I might like and offered to help if I needed it. I grabbed some different sizes to try and then went to the fitting rooms. The girl running the fitting rooms was also amazingly sweet. She understood my goal of finding good fitting jeans and also recommended some styles and told me about how the different fits will vary in sizing. I brought my new jeans to check out, and was helped by another sweet girl. (Seriously all the employees I encountered there were so nice and helpful!) I actually left the store happy! The employees made an intimidating situation such a great experience! I’ve always loved AE clothing, but my experience yesterday made me want to keep going back even more. Thank you so much!!
