The customer service at this place is unbelievable. “Kisha” who works the front desk of this location was rude, disrespectful and moves without a sense of urgency. It’s embarrassing and humiliating when even other customers heard the conversation and apologized to me that I was spoken to and treated that way when the disrespect was unprovoked.
The line is out the door, I’m by myself carrying 3 luggage’s. Kisha was taking her sweet time smacking her lips and her long finger nails on the computer. The customer she was working with finished and left. I was the next person in line and began to walk up to her desk. She rudely says, “I didn’t ask for the next customer.” And makes me stop walking up to her. She had a smirk on her face seeing I was already forced to stop while carrying multiple bags. How about, “sorry give me one second I’ll be right with you.” Then she proceeds to again take her sweet time purposely typed slowly knowing I was struggling and a line was out the door. At the end, she gives me the paperwork for a vehicle. I walk to the vehicle and see another family getting into the vehicle. Not only did she provide horrible customer service but she double booked the vehicle and had me walk all the way over there to get reassigned another vehicle. Rude, disrespectful and incompetent of doing her job correctly.
If you don’t want to work there, you don’t have to. I’ve previously booked Avis many times before. But due to her interaction I will never book Avis again. If you don’t want to interact with people then go pick up trash on the side of the road. But honestly she may mess that up too.

Bailed me out of a tight spot. Cost was slightly more than enterprise but they had a reliable vehicle for me, had zero issues. Pleasant experience with all Avis agents at the airport.

Honestly, I’d give them a zero if I could. After waiting 40 minutes in line, when we got to the counter, they changed our booking from a gas sedan at 200 dollars to an electric vehicle. When we stated that was not what we had scheduled and wanted to change to a gas sedan like we had originally scheduled, they upcharged us to a grand total of 570. (Renting the vehicle for 3 full days, returning in the 4th.) But wait, there’s more. When we entered the parking garage for our new, very expensive vehicle, there was a man in it who just drove away. So we trudged back downstairs and to let someone know. While waiting to speak to one of the employees, we heard our exact same scenario being played out with another customer. Then, when we approached one of the clerks to inform them someone else took our vehicle, she nonchalantly told us “Oh yeah, that just happens, but you can get it reissued” and waved vaguely at massive line. I would strongly recommend avoiding this business, unless you like to just light money on fire. They will scam you, without a care in the world. Please don’t make our mistake and just go with a different company.

I booked for a truck on arrival to the airport. There was a mixup on orders and they gave me an SUV for the first day. Dee Dee went above and beyond to make sure I had the vehicle I needed when I returned the next day. Much appreciated!

Rented a car with my Aaron discount after taxes it was 372 got to the counter basically forced to get an upgrade ended up pay more taxes upon return of vehicle Inwhich I didn’t agree to paying over 1000 dollars

Ridiculous and insane fees ($450) for cleaning. We brought back the car 24h earlier than planned and haven’t got any refund for that. But they charged us $450 because there was a very small amount of sand and dogs hairs in the car. Such a shame! These 3 minutes vacuuming are the most expensive ever!

The best place to rent a car. We needed a one way from DC to OH. Avis had an available car at the last minute. Everyone we have talked to has been sooo nice and accommodating!!! Thank you Avis!!!!

My car had a low tire pressure warning so I called Avis. They told me to stop at the nearest location so I stopped at the Columbus Airport. They wouldn’t provide me an equivalent car because they said it was going to be dropped off at a different location.
