Just picked up my pet, dropped him off at 9:30am for his comprehensive exam and 1 vaccine. Picked him up at 4pm, and of course they didn't perform the comp exam. When I initially decided to get a Banfield plan it was b/c I felt that it was affordable and there were lots of services included. Well, I've had 3 issues with the Polaris location, so I will find my pets a different location before I decide to stop using Banfield entirely.

Truly amazing service from Dr. Blackmon and her staff. I have never had an above and beyond experience anywhere else but here they truly go above and beyond. Very highly recommend.

Friendly, professional people with a love for my pets! They're always so sweet and Dr. Blackmon has been my cats' vet for the last two years - we love her and the techs at Banfield Polaris.

Our regular Banfield was unable to get us in for the hardest decision a pet owner has to make. Polaris location got us in within 24 hours. Hercules had cancer that was surgically removed but came back 18 months later with a vengeance. The Polaris staff and doc were fantastic. They gave us as much time as we needed with Hercules before the procedure and sent us a card with his paw and nose prints inside. What a great touch which provided us with something tangible that we could hold onto and remember our big boy forever. Thanks for immediately stepping in to help and providing such compassionate care.

My other Banfield wasn't able to accomate my dog, so I had to take her to this one. The veterinarian was very nice when I dropped her off. Took a long time to talk to her, but I felt good about leaving my dog in her care.During pickup however I felt super rushed (despite there being no one else waiting). My dog had her teeth cleaned and after being under Anesthesia she's always a mess. She gets extremely worked up when she sees me, is very wary of other dogs while in that condition, and is totally uncoordinated. For whatever reason I was refused a room to receive her in. They said there were no rooms available despite the vet telling me it would be no problem when I talked to her on the phone.The person working the front desk that day essentially lied to my face and dismissed me completely then ignored me until they brought my dog out who was totally out of it.For them to refuse to do something as simple as letting me receive her in a room makes me question whether they have my dogs best interests at heart.

They care for the pets, but their processes are terrible! They put you on hold every time that you call… Sometimes for 15 minutes they are not available for appointments as easily as they should be. They charge you a high premium for extra services outside the wellness plans. There’s high turnover. They need a lot of work on internal practice operations

****Please review the Banfield Corporation before you bring your pet here and before you subscribe to a wellness plan***** pay attention to the law suits and pending litigation against this Company. Banfield employees are encouraged and expected to upsell you on treatments for your pet while being understaffed and under equipped with basic veterinary diagnostic equipment. They are owened by Mars “yep the candy company” and treat their clinics as a retail service. If you need anything beyond a basic vaccination look elsewhere. Your fur babies are part of your family and deserve better care. You will not find it here especially if something goes wrong and you need anything beyond preventative care.

Will not be coming back and will be cancelling my wellness plan. This location is very unprofessional. I waited in a room for TWENTY FIVE minutes past my appointment time and the only reason someone came in was because I called the front desk. Turns out there was a “miscommunication”. When I literally saw in bold red letters on the screen in the room that I had not been seen yet. They obviously don’t care about customer satisfaction. My advice: take your business elsewhere

Go somewhere else, this location is TERRIBLE. There is a huge difference between Banfield in Petsmart and standalone Banfield. This location in particular is horrid, avoid it.

They do a great job with Neiko and when any emergencies arise they do for us in as early as possible I really do appreciate them. I go to Banfield over taking him to the vet now!
