Cool little bottle ship with a great beer and wine selection for the size. They also have a bar so you can grab a drink and hang out before a show in the area or something

Local joint with numerous local beers on tap and for sale...fantastic wine selection..AMAZING Bloody Mary's, Mimosas and some liquor!! Can even get drinks to- go if you want to walk around the market! Don't pass this hidden gem up!! You won't be disappointed!! Great bartenders and Mangement as well!!

The Barrel and Bottle has an excellent selection of bottles, the bar offers a wide variety of drinks, and the staff is very friendly!
However, the cocktails were a bit of a letdown—my Negroni was extremely strong, and my husband's Margarita definitely came from sour mix, which is not great for a $13-$14 drink. Despite that, the atmosphere is inviting and laid-back, making it a great place to relax. Overall, a solid spot, but the cocktails could use some improvement.

My first visit to North Market and this was my favourite vendor out of the 4 I visited. Excellent draft beer and friendly, welcoming staff, I loved it.

Amazing place to relax, shop, and/or grab a nice beverage during your experience at North Market in the Arena District/Short North area! The staff is incredible and wonderfully accommodating! Shout out to Sarah, Erica, Susan, Stanic, Hannah, Peter, and others I may be forgetting at the moment. Great people. Great times ❤️🙏🏾

Came into a lively conversation with O and the bartender. Forgive me, I can't remember his name. Started with an S, entirely too many syllables. Anyway. He handled an intoxicated guest with the grace of the queens guard. This dudes vibes are seriously the best. Like sea turtle from Finding Nemo chill. If I was local I'd stop in once a week just to catch up with this dude. Anywho, stop in. This place is dope. And hopefully Stemshlemhershin is working.

This is a cute little bar/shop where you can either sit at the bar and talk to the friendly bartenders, or you can take your drink to go around the market. The decor is cool to look at and they’ve got some unique local drinks on tap. My friend and I both got rice lagers which were different but I liked it! They also have a small shop to buy some wine or cans of beer. Great place to stop before a hockey game.
