BigSandy/terrible customer service store. Still waiting on couch to be fixed since the beginning of January. almost 5 months in.

We purchased 3 appliances and 3 pieces of furniture (at the same time). The glass top stove we purchased cracked within a couple months of use (tech determined it was NOT due to damage/negligence on our end). Then there's the love seat saga. They delivered it damaged - the frame is bent so one side cannot open/recline and close properly. They came out early November and advised they had to order a new part, which would arrive in January. I followed up in January and was told the part wasn't even due to ship from overseas until late January, and was given a date of March 15th. March 15th came and went, with still no updates from their customer service. I reached out and they did not have an arrival date for my part, nor do they have a resolution. They advised they would reach out to their services department for an alternate solution and would "be in touch." In news no one was surprised by, they again did not reach out with an update. It is now 4/11 and there is no end in sight to fixing the love seat - no response from customer service, no update on the part, no update on an alternate resolution. We're approaching 6 months of waiting for this to be fixed, when it never should have been delivered damaged in the first place. I had high hopes for our purchases, but highly unlikely we'll purchase from here again.

Update - Excited to use my new washer & dryer I threw a load in the washer and went about my day. When I went to put the towels in the dryer it wobbled and was not level. Then when I went to remove them they were soaking wet. I ran them again and felt the dryer and the vent. No heat. So now I have a brand new set that won't dry and towels hanging all over to dry them. Tried to get help and they are not there until Monday after 9am. My 5 star review is a 2 (washer works) until I see how their service is. So far I am very disappointed with this process. I made my first purchase from Big Sandy last Saturday 3/16. The washer & dryer were delivered today (less than a week later). I have never had a more efficient experience. The gentlemen that did the delivery were fast, efficient and very friendly. I will definitely purchase from Big Sandy again.

In 2021 we moved into a condo built in 1986 and realized we wished to replace major appliances. In November 2023, we visited the Big Sandy Superstore in Polaris on the edge of Columbus. Each staff person was friendly and knowledgeable. I got to meet Darrin L both of my visits. We had a helpful chat with Brooke C. later. My husband also dealt with Brandon M. Both Darrin and Brooke mentioned the price matching that Big Sandy does, which made it very appealing too. The selection was good, made better by their willingness to order things they might not have. The prices were good too. When we can, we prefer to support local or regional businesses over national chains. Big Sandy was unknown to us newcomers to the region but we had great interactions with Sheely's in North Lima over many years and this place reminds us of them. We got appliances this time. Big Sandy also sells furniture, mattresses, and electronics. Although I am weirded out by getting a text and replying to an AI chatbot (with a name!), it worked to confirm our appointment, as well as to give us a link to follow the progress of the delivery truck. We were told they'd come between 7:30 AM and 11:30 AM. We were first on their route. Delivery guys / installers Walt and Rodney arrived promptly at 7:45, hauled away an old oven and an old dishwasher, installed new ones, as well as packaging all in about a half hour. They were professional, friendly, and skilled. I rate our experience overall as a five star time. Hats off to them!

My Experience was amazing! Katlin was so helpful and she went way out of her way to help me find the last pieces I needed for my living room. I’ve been searching and stressing for a month. 8 different furniture stores multiple times and online constantly trying to find the perfect coffee table and Accent table. She helped with the vision and got me set. So relieved!Not to mention she came in on her day off to make sure I was situated and put my order in. Thanks again!Below is the picture she took of me lol

Our salesman was friendly, professional, anticipated our questions, and was not pushy at all. The 4-appliance package deal we bought fit pretty closely our kitchen appliance needs, considering the age and condition (broken 15 yr fridge, leaking 20yr dishwasher, 20yr stove & MW). I'd recommend Big Sandy to friends.

I had a very good experience with Big Sandy. I had been looking at items online so I knew what I wanted. The salesperson Robert, helped me make the best decision by providing measurements and walking me through the pricing, etc. I was impressed that the "sale" price was until they run out of stock. Lastly, I was most impressed that Robert heard me when I said I'm concerned the ottoman maybe to big in the space. He said no problem,if its too big just have the delivery person put back on the truck and we will credit your account. He even noted this on the delivery paperwork - now THATS customer service! Looking forward to delivery next week.

Brandon in appliances was awesome! He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in helping us choose our new washer/dryer combo and refrigerator. There was a minor issue with our delivery process, but customer service was very quick to remedy the issue.

Great buying experience. Katlin was super helpful and made the purchase stress free. Asked what we were looking for and directed us to the right area, but left us to look around on our own. She checked on us a bit later and answered any questions we had. Made the the experience great. Will definitely be back for our next furniture buy.

The whole process at the store level was fantastic. Robert was great, 5 stars to him. Big Sandy Superstore is great. Robert worked with us and gave us all the discounts he could. He took my calls and texts and never let me down.We bought three households worth of furniture for our rental business, I get it, it was confusing.The delivery team was the problem.(UPDATE ….. September 22nd, the store contacted me and returned my delivery fee. They are working with the delivery manager to correct the problem with the delivery team)The first delivery on August 9th, The feet of the pieces of furniture were placed but all of the screws on all of the feet of the sofas ands chairs were missing. We had to spend hours shopping for hardware and replacing the screws. We had to flip over all of the pieces and finish the work for them. Two couches, 4 chairs and two ottomans. The dinettes also were missing screws in the chairs.On the second delivery on Sept. 19th, it gets worse! The delivery was made to the wrong address! The delivery guy dropped off the two sofas and two chairs to the wrong house, another cabin we have near by, and to a 13 year old kid! They asked him if was expecting a delivery, he said “ IDK” and they left the sofa and chairs on a deck. They didn’t sign off, they did not ask the name, they just left them outside on a deck. It could have been a strangers house!! No set up and they left. We tried to call after we discovered the mistake and waiting at the correct address, the delivery driver refused to come back and deliver to the correct house and still they are not put together. We ended up moving them to the correct house ourselves, but so much for White glove delivery and set up. I would like my delivery fees returned if possible. ( manager returned my fees)
