Camera owners BEWARE!As a habitual supporter of small businesses, I am sorely disappointed. The shop owner and technician, Jamie, wouldn’t know customer service if it hit him in the face. This guy is so rude that I wonder how they’re even still in business. After speaking to Jamie one time, I didn’t want to do business with him, however, I decided to take the chance on the convenience of a local business rather than a mail in service. After being told my repair would take a week, over a month later I finally got my camera. And, despite, the whopping price, jamie refused to give any clear explanation on what was even wrong with my camera, throughout the whole experience from quote to pickup, and actually even gave me attitude when I asked to know the diagnosis before I agree to cost. Still after getting my camera, nothing was properly explained to me. The kinder, older man that works there didn’t know anything about my repair when I asked while paying, but while I tried to further get any clarity at all from him to get an idea about what services I had actually even paid for, Jamie sat behind a room divider and remained silent. What a joke. Oh, and I can’t forget… The surprise taxes that they spring on you! After agreeing to pay in cash because it wouldn’t have their 11% card fee as a sign in the shop states, and the older gentlemen told me there would be no further taxes when first leaving my camera with them, Jamie thought it was ok to tack on an extra $10 to my quote claiming it was “tax”. Don’t expect to know what you’re even paying for, get your camera back in a timely manner, get transparency on pricing, or even be able to get in touch with the shop effectively. Truly a shame because, at first, I was so excited to find a local camera tech shop that I could remain a loyal customer to. Instead, I’d take my chances any day with a mail in repair service rather than set foot back here. Don’t make the same mistake I did, find another company focused on clarity and honesty.

I have used Camtronic on two occasions and have always received courteous, fast, accurate, and professional care for my camera equipment. It has always amazed me how personable the owner has been and information that pertains to me leaving the shop as if I had a conversation with a close friend. Will continue to use their assistance.

Went in today to have my Minolta X-700 film camera fixed, took them less than 3 minutes to fix my camera. Now I’m headed out to capture more wonderful photos. Thanks so much! ?

My best lens Sigma 70-200 f2.8 the auto focus stopped working sent to Sigma & they told me lens is no longer supported go buy new one for a lot more $$ I found Camtronics. Jamie & John are the best !! Cleaned contacts on AF motor - very fair repair charge & fast turnaround. Highly recommend Camtronics.

I have a point and shoot DSLR that would not turn on even with a new battery. John took a look at it, tried a few things and explained what I needed to do with the lithium battery. Lo and behold, he had it working in about 10 minutes. And then he wouldn’t charge me! Believe me, this kind of service anywhere in America these days, is rare. Thank you John, for your help and wisdom.

I took my Cannon Reble T7 in for cleaning (sensor and lense). The owner is very knowledgable and provided a detaile explination of what was going to be done. He stated it would be done withing a week. I recieved a call the next day with him telling me my camera was ready for pick up. I have yet to use it yet, but everything checked out before I left the shop.

After calling days ago to see if they did specific work on a Sony camera and being told yes, they told me to bring it in. I drove 2 hours to bring my camera to them, to be told by the guy, to send it to Sony. So I have now wasted 4 hours of driving, and gas for absolutely nothing.

My camera and tripod were acting wonky, so I brought it here for a little help. The owner was super nice, knowledgeable and got my stuff working like new. You should definitely come here because they know what they're doing!
