I visited Elm and Iron Clintonville, 3475 N. High St. in the "Clintonville" neighborhood of Columbus, on 11-24-2023. I have often walked past there while on my way somewhere else; I decided to actually visit there on the day after Thanksgiving.Elm and Iron Clintonville sells high-end home furnishings, accessories, and décor. They have been at their Clintonville location since 2012; they now also have a location at Easton Town Center and a warehouse [open Monday-Friday by appointment only] in Grandview.I had been greatly impressed by the quality of the merchandise that is for sale at Elm and Iron and the high-quality way in which that merchandise is displayed.I had visited there at dusk; the several photographs that I had taken while I had been there had been quite dramatic because of the quality of the light that had been coming in through the windows.The building in which Elm and Iron is housed had been built in 1929 to be a new location for a business in downtown Columbus whose main purpose had been to sell automobile tires. The Clintonville location of that business, according to a 1929 article in The Columbus Dispatch, offered complete motor car service.It is obvious, when looking at the architectural style of the Elm and Iron building, that that building had been constructed for a business whose main purpose would be to repair cars.If you are looking for some high-end home furnishings, accessories, and décor, I strongly recommend Elm and Iron.

Fun to look around and there are many interesting items for your home here and some furniture as well. I liked this location better than the Easton store. Check it out.

What a great store full of unique items for your home. A lot of great ideas for the home from the displays which are really at that dream home level. The staff was very friendly and made the experience even better. I really hate to shop but I cannot wait to go back to this store!

Functional and modern meet at Elm and Iron. A very cool, hip store with many items from furniture to candles to lamps. Good quality items

Bought a wall clock from one of their warehouse sales. It didn't have batteries in it, and I obviously didn't have any AAs in my pocket to test it, but I assumed that since they were selling it that it was at least functional. I paid $50, went home, put in batteries, and learned it was completely dead. I reached out to let them know, and they outright refused to make it right. No refund, no store credit, no replacement. Awful customer service.

Great selection of (expensive) furniture, earthly & vintage decor, and gifts ... but if you're looking for a warm greeting or even a weak attempt at customer service, keep looking.

Great experience in store. Staff is more than helpful, but you do have to ask for it. FYI.That said the furniture we’ve bought has been GOOD. Has held up sell but not phenomenal. The decor though, great. Service is spotty, but if you make a point to ask about a piece, they will go out of their way to answer you.
