This place is great for plant lovers and families. They separate the plants based on their climates, which you can feel as you walk through and take in all of the foliage. Between all of the rooms, the hallways are lined with various plants, different every season. In some places it is not clear what direction the walkways go and you might walk through the same area twice. Every season there are also different exhibits, so every visit here may not be the same. They also have a seasonal butterfly blooming exhibit where you can walk through a mist of butterflies. If you want small plants or memorabilia of your own, there is a gift shop near the entrance as well as a cafe. This is a great place to visit during a weekend.

My school-aged children had an absolute blast. We went in the spring, so there were butterflies hatching and the garden was filled with them. They loved the rest of the indoor gardens as well. I would love to return in the summer to participate in some of the events then, but the children's area was still entertaining in the cold rainy weather. The Chihuly glass was amazing and so fun to find throughout the gardens.

We have visited the conservatory a few times over the past couple of years and each time we find something new to love! From the changing exhibits in the outdoor gardens and show house to the tropical gardens to the newly revamped plant shop, there’s always something wonderful to discover.

Fantastic place of great beauty! Also has many special exhibits throughout the year, including Orchid Show, and Blooms & Butterflies. Largest Chihuly Art Glass display in a Botanical Garden in USA. Many educational programs and classes available, 2-acre Children's Garden. 88 acres in all, great place to explore. Four separate climate biomes, plus a spectacular Palmhouse! Great place to bask in nature's beauty and recharge.

Franklin Park Conservatory is the best museum/zoo-esque activity in Columbus. They are amazing biome rooms from the desert to the Pacific Islands. In the spring and summer, the butterfly and bloom exhibit is a must-see. The kid's garden outside has a little splash pad, so bring towels or a change of clothes for your little ones.FPC also has a lot of workshops you can sign up for. Everything from blown glass to caring for orchids.

A very beautiful building with white design. The orchid garden was very lovely. My favorite was the butterfly garden. The staff told me there were more than 2000 butterflies here, but I think they have less…. In general the experience was nice. I spent about 1 hour here.If you plan 1 day to visit Columbus, buy a 1-day pass of the city will be cheaper than buying separate tickets. I bought a pass a went to The Conservatory and the Zoo/Aquarium.

The Glasshouse, with its stunning architecture, is a highlight, housing different biomes. The gardens, including the Himalayan Mountain and Japanese Gardens, showcase a thoughtful design. The educational exhibits add depth to the visit, making it an enjoyable and informative outing for nature enthusiasts.

Very expensive for what you get. I haven't noticed much change over the years except for the price. I will say the orchid display is nice but short lived like my excitement for seeing the same old environments.
