Extremely welcoming and friendly environment with great food! Just as good of quality as a bigger name Italian Restaurant in Columbus for a more reasonable price. Fantastic service and you can really tell that it's family owned and the staff cares about the guests experience. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Delicious. Go just for the filet meal! Those mashed potatoes are mmmmmmmmmm. The steak is perfection!

Wonderful experience! We had a great waitress. I believe her name was Amy. Ordered three different appetizers dessert. And of course the complementary bread. So much food we couldn't finish it! Always delicious. Did not feel rushed at all, and we were able to sit and visit. Noise level in the back room is a little loud.

Have an enjoyed having dinner at Gallo's Kitchen for many years. A friend and I had dinner here this evening. As always, our food was excellent and server was very good. Unfortunately, had a very rude interaction with a Hostess. My friend and I were having a drink for our dessert. One of the Hostesses approached our table and stated "Unfortunately, your time is up and we need your table. We have other reservations waiting." For reference, our reservation was at 6:00 p.m. & this was ~ 7:25 p.m. I asked, "do you have any seats available at the bar?" The Hostess left to check and returned to say "No." I said, our server hasn't even approached us about checks. The Hostess replied, "well, I can move you to another table." There were other tables around us that had been there just as long as we had, yet no one else was being approached about leaving. Unfortunately, the Hostess handled the communication very poorly and came across as being rude. Our server was apologetic. She even brought us dessert to go "on the house." Declined dessert. Just paid our bill and respectfully left the restaurant. The situation was embarrassing as the table to my immediate right heard the whole conversation. We do not believe that we did anything wrong. We were just finishing our drinks!! As a result of this poor customer service experience, I do not plan on returning to this restaurant again.

As a country ass cajun boy from Baton Rouge La. I can tell you the cuisine at Gallo's is point on. Tonight the Gumbo was as good as you could get -- including anywhere in Louisiana it was just that good. congrats to Tommy and his staff. Great place great food!!!

The food was very good. My wife had the salmon. I had a steak. The salmon was cooked to perfection. My steak was decent. The atmosphere was good. The service was not so good. We waited a long time to get our food. Other that I had a decent experience.

The sauce on pasta Giantonio is always amazing. I like to swap out the cavatelli for any other shape they have. My husband loved the jambalaya. One of our very favorite restaurants. Maybe our very favorite.

Gallos remains one of the best Italian/creole restaurants in town. Great menu and specials. Even table bread is very good. Highly recommend their creole dishes. Like everywhere else the prices have gone up, but the quality and quantity of food remains high. You can expect Great service. Also it can get really loud in here. Tables are close. Be sure to make reservations unless you want to take a chance on getting bar seating. Reservations require credit card.

I was seated promptly, My guest and I talked for a while before ordering. The waitress was still attentive and patient. We finally ordered a glass of wine and the meat ball appetizer. The wine and the meatballs were delicious. I will go there again and try an main course.

Not much of a walleye person but the dish I got was so good! I would definitely go back for it. Our server was really good. Didn't catch her name. It was a little noisy but glad to see it is a popular place.

Had dinner there with a group of 9. Amy was our server and she was top notch - very cognizant of what food went where, who was missing something, and very calm and in control with a smile and great attitude.Food was really good, very flavorful and satisfying.Atmosphere was fun and lively.Really enjoyed my time there.

We made a reservation and we were seated promptly. Unfortunately, we were seated directly beside another couple with multiple other seats available. It made it difficult to have any conversation. The service was good, but the food was average for the price.
