I took my 2014 Jetta in due to a noise coming from the driver's side front. They called and informed me that I needed two lower control arms, and I approved the work.
After picking up the car, I drove home to Lancaster. While driving on the highway, I noticed that when I hit the gas, the steering wheel would pull to the right, and the car would veer to the left. Concerned, I dropped the car off the next morning and explained that the alignment seemed off. They inspected it at no charge and claimed that the alignment camera might not have been fully attached to the wheel during the previous service. They assured me the car was good to go.
However, while driving home, I experienced the same issue again. Frustrated, I went home, took off the wheels, and inspected the work myself. I found that a control arm bolt was not tightened properly. It was barely secure. Furious, I returned to Bowman's to express my dissatisfaction with the quality of their work. The person behind the counter casually offered $200 in gift certificates and said, "It's only a couple of turns loose." Mind you, this was after $1,038 was paid for the job.
Later, they called and offered a $400 check.
To anyone reading this I would not trust them with even an oil change, given their blatant disregard for safety and human life. They had my car twice and still failed to notice the loose bolt. They also rounded my axle nut and the car is still making the same noise, which I discovered is a tie rod end........

I have been a Goodyear customer for decades. Bowman’s Goodyear in Bexley is the BEST!
I have a 2013 Dodge Caravan and a 2019 VW beetle convertible. They keep me going. They even found a squirrel had chewed wires on the van causing the check engine light to come on!
They will always be my “go to guys”!

I’ve had 3 cars worked on there in the last 6 months , every single time the bill came in UNDER estimate, I’ve never had to take the car back because the work was shoddy, every single time the car was done in time if not early and the staff there are polite, knowledgeable and helpful.
I am completely happy with them and they will continue to have my business and I recommend them to friends.

I was having a slow leak on my driver side rear tire. The customer service at the desk told me they could look at it. They took a look and found a small nail in the tire. They fixed my tire while I waited. I appreciated the service, I thought I was going to need a new tire. $37. 73 to patch my tire. Just grateful.

I came into the shop to diagnose an elusive overheating problem on my Volkswagen. After troubleshooting the problem over the course of a couple days (communication was excellent throughout) the shop was able to pinpoint the problem and get it fixed! My check engine light came on a couple days later and so I brought my car back into the shop, but they were more than willing to get the error code resolved and did so at no additional charge. The staff puts an emphasis on getting the job done right and I felt like I was treated with nothing but integrity throughout the process, would definitely recommend for your auto service needs!

James, Paul, and Steve took great care of my family with our Saturn Sky that had some previous repairs at a Dayton location and was starting to leak. They reassured us they would take a look at it and make sure it was safe to drive back home. As promised, they had the problem resolved within a day and had the car back on the road. The part was under warranty so it didn’t cost us anything. While we had it there we also asked to replace some bulbs and it was also done quickly. We couldn’t have been more pleased with their kindness and the service that they provided.

Wow!! We needed an emergency muffler repair on a road trip and they took us in right away, located and picked up the part we needed across the city, and had us in and out in two hours. This is a making family-owned business who were kind and knowledgeable and transparent in their fees and parts. Would return!!
