At this time, I was traveling for my child‘s sport! Although the staff at this hotel was fantastic, the hotel itself badly needs a complete renovation. I stay in Hilton hotels between work and family time roughly 40 nights/year, and this was the poorest tended to Hilton I’ve come across.Pros: One of the better Hampton breakfast I’ve seen over the past couple months. Hotel staff is TRYING to keep things clean. Safe area, tucked kind of away from main thoroughfare. Great location makes it easy to get to interstate! Computers available in lobby. WiFi connection was strong and didn’t glitch during our stay.Cons: Lobby smells heavily of marijuana at all hours over 3 day period. The door jambs have no plating, so you have to deadlock to ensure the door stays shut. Two stink bugs greeted us upon arrival to our room. There was a sticky dried substance on the floor that resembled glue or something else. Mattresses had various massive sweat stains on them. Pool had oil film over it and water was not circulating in half the pool due to jet displacement. Rust in showers. Dirty old carpet that kind of flakes off on bare feet. Burns from cigarettes on desks in rooms. Mattresses were old and badly need replacement.Kind of shocked this hotel is in Hilton’s portfolio. Definitely needs attention.

Nothing but positive during our stay. Rates fair, room and facility were super clean. The breakfast area was well stocked, the food was hot and all the staff we interacted with were very nice.

It was the Hilton Inn........Several things I disliked about this place ......... First there's no sign to tell you location from the main street......that is behind Red lobster and a banquet hall....tucked in the last building...... another situation, I booked my room through Afterpay app......but upon arrival I was told about the $150 deposit.....(over 24 hrs since checked out , it still didn't get it released) nothing anywhere telling you that you have to have an extra $150 deposit before you can check in.... The elevator sounds like it was going to stop at anytime......but the few things that's were good...... the room was nice and clean.... Plenty of restaurants walking distance.....It was quiet considering it was off the freewayRooms: Nice and clean, plenty of sitting space.....bed nice and comfortable ... Pool was open...Walkability: Plenty of restaurantsFood & drinks: It's several walkable . restaurants and a grocery stores... No liquor store close by, but its a drive thru beer and wine 5 minutes away.... Breakfast was great... Nice choices .... In lobby plenty of snacks.....Noteworthy details: Put a sign on the main road letting customers know that you are back there...put on your website about the$150 deposit......Get the elevator fixed....

I’m disappointed that this hotel didn’t live up to what I expect of a Hampton. I am literally laying here not able to sleep. The TV has lost cable now four times where I’ve had to unhook it and reconnect it. I was told it has been like this since they upgraded the lines. I suggest you go back to how you had it. The heater makes so much noise it sounds like a jet engine taking off so I’ve had to turn it off so I can sleep. Now I’m getting cold because of no heat. I will not stay here again. Just disappointed.Rooms: Direct TV not working and heater LOUD!

Total dump. When I say dumpster fire, I’m being nice. Hilton should revoke their name from the door!!Bathroom was full of mold, horrible trim and the countertop was falling away from the wall. The shower valve is broken. You have to jimmy it to work.Crack in the door lights up the room. You can actually see in from the hallway.“New girl” at the front desk will tell you the elevator is broken and give you a room on the 3rd floor. Then call her “boss” who gives a $81t less and says the elevator “works”… only to get I the thing and the metal scraping and noises it makes make you want to take the stairs…. Terrifying. Then, when you point out the shortcomings … the “new girl” will belittle you and try and say your card was declined, even though the charge came through….This place needs a gas can and a match!I hope this isn’t indicative of Columbia OH… ?♂️

Fire alarm went off at 4am. Staff was yelling at the guest. Toilet got broken and then they said that we don’t get a deposit back when we notified the staff

The room was dirty. They need to really clean the furniture. The tv wasn’t working. There was old food in the mini fridge. The bathroom was disgusting. Refused to shower at this place. Breakfast was fine. Dinning area was decent as well. Location is nice but that doesn’t make up for everything. The front desk woman was parked out front and took 15 minutes to come inside. She was out there frequently. She even had a line of cars waiting to go around her when we pulled in. Couldn’t even unload our stuff at the front since she was parked there. Elevator was “recently” broken. According to a few people there it hasn’t been working for months. Pool has a gross film on it. My husband and I chose not to go in it but a ton of kids ran in when we were just checking it out. Key cards deactivated twice while we were here. Checked out after 1 night. It was awful. Also wasn’t told there was a $150 deposit until after I put my card into the card reader. Asked how long until I should expect them to submit the refund and she didn’t know. I am calling to complain about this experience but figured the general public should know about this as well. If I could give zero stars I would.Safety: Doors were open in the stairwell for the exit. They didn’t lock. Didn’t exactly make you feel safe. Our door was open to our room when we arrived upstairs so again didn’t make you feel safe.

This place was a nightmare! My boyfriend and I were planning on staying the weekend in Colombus. When we went to check into this hotel the night manager was checking in several people at once which made the requests hard to determine who she was asking. The elevator was broken (not a big deal). The first room we were given had either never been cleaned that day or someone was already in it as the sheets were rumpled and the shower was running (no one in shower). The second room we were given had a toilet clogged with TP and Poop. I did not give them a chance to offer me a 3rd room.We were told by people staying on the 3rd floor that someone was knocking on the doors and running away.My boyfriend and I left and ended up staying at another hotel.

My husband and I stayed here for one night on November 6. We arrived around 11 pm and were just ready to pass out. When walking in there were signs stating that the elevator was out of order (from reading previous reviews it seems like the elevator hasn't been working for months). Fortunately, we are able-bodied. Once checked in, the woman working the front desk mumbled instructions on where to find the stairs. I gave her the benefit of the doubt since she's night shift and may not want to talk to people... Once we found the creepy stairs (next to the closed pool that also seems to have been down for months from previous reviews), we found our room. Upon inspection, the tiled floor was sticky, shelving in the bathroom was hanging on for dear life and rust all around the bath tub (off to a great start). The room was spacious with a king sized bed. The bedding, though, was little to be desired. The pillows felt like they were 20 years old and were approximately 12 inch squares. All the sheets had an off-white color to them and the comforter was in bad condition and torn. The sheets were obviously dirty with lint and hair throughout. I was lucky enough that I was so tired from a day of travel that I was able to sleep. The next morning we quickly were on our way and decided to have our complimentary breakfast. It was 0700 and the area was already dirty with food on the floor and around some tables. There was a breakfast employee standing by the food, but maybe her job was only to ensure the food was stocked? An employee came out of a back room in just black pants and a dirty white undershirt. I assumed he was headed out for the day, but he went to the front desk and acted like he was just starting his shift.Once we went to check out, we waited at the front desk for 5 mins. The employee was in the back room. We knew this because he was carrying on a loud conversation. I've stayed at other Hamptons and they have had cameras in those rooms so they can see when people show up. Maybe they don't have that available at this one? Once he graced us with his presence, he came out in a sweatshirt and had a pick in his hair. He checked us our quickly after that, so there's that....The on-ramp was closed for construction so we had to drive through the neighborhood to get to the next one (not to the fault of the hotel, obviously). Because of this, we were able to see the area since we didn't notice it late at night the previous night. I can see some people getting nervous in this part of Columbus.STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK. This is only a Hampton Inn due to their sign outside. Nothing on the inside resembles any Hampton I've stayed at.

I’m sure at some point this was a nice hotel and the staff did try but something’s are just out of their control. For starters, the elevator was broken and the pool was closed. Which I get can happen. A staff member did try to open the pool by shocking the water. She then informed me it would be fine to swim in 30 minutes. We did go down to check it out but realized quickly the filter was not running (the water level was below the pump return) and there was slimy starting to grow in the water and along the bottom. It was not safe for swimming.Next my daughters room smelled of stale smoke & mildew. Even though the rooms was switched, it’s still worth noting that this was missed by housekeeping who was to ready the hotel for 46 check ins of runners attending the state finals for cross country. The hotel was at capacity the night we stayed.Lots of minor maintenance issue like door stops, attached sink faucets, and secure window treatments. The curtains in my room didn’t close and the 24 hour LED security lights of the storage facility shined into our room the entire night making sleep difficult. Finally for the first time ever in my experience at any hotel, I was shocked to find out not only the hot water but the water pressure could be an issue. By 7am there was no hot water at all in the hotel. When I asked, I was told sometimes when everyone showers all at once, this can happen. After spending almost $200 for the hotel for a single night, I found shocking. At that price point these are things that should be taken care of.It was just disappointing. I will not be staying again and I will be sure to warn others who might potentially stay that it’s not worth the money.

Loyal Hilton Honors member here. I do not recommend this hotel. The room had an odd smell and the carpets were severely stained. The tiles in the bathroom floor were loose and I had a very unsafe feeling my whole stay. I also found hair in the bed meaning the sheets were not changed. I'll be finding another hotel the next time I stay in Columbus. Also a major inconvenience was the elevator not working.

The front desk clerk was hardly ever present. The rooms carpets were filthy and needed shampooing. The bathtub had a yellow ring around it and rusted all along the bottom. The 1st floor curtain doesn't fully close, only a thin clear curtain closes fully and anyone can simply stare in your room. The thermostat was broken with some paper shoved into where the button should be. There weren't any actual pillows, they placed 4 sofa square pillows in pillow sacks instead. The area was undesireable and had random people wandering the parking lot. Worst Hilton experience I have ever had.
