Have a 775 credit score and requested a 10k credit card line. Had a $274 medical bill from 6 years ago that I did not know about. I was told I needed to clear this up before they would be able to send it to underwriting. Really? I pulled my report on Experian and it's not on there. Smh

I went here to open a account and at first everything was great but a month later I started to have trouble with my funds and I try to speak with someone they give me odd looks as if I couldn’t have that amount of money in my account and also they keep wanting to check into my account I feel very uncomfortable here and I hate to say racially profiled I’m going to close my account with them beware if you do go with this bank I think color is a issue depending on how much money you make

A true example of a "Hometown" bank - the staff at this location is amazing, always remember your name and super nice to work with. The former manager Peggie was/is heavily involved in the west columbus community. This is what heartland is all about and I love it!

Recently switched my account to Heartland Bank, and I'm still getting acquainted with the branch location and the services. But, there are a few things that I know I already love about this bank. Your money stays local! Since they are a community bank, they reinvest funds back into local organizations, and provide financial support for community building. Why should my money go to support large corporate banking institutions when it can help to benefit the community in which I live? Also, the staff are super friendly. This branch location is full of nice people who are happy to answer any questions. The only downside so far is that the banking app looks a bit dated, but it works just fine. This sounds d**** but I really love their radio/commercial jingle! "Come on over to Heartland, where the banking feels good!"

Friendly staff every visit. Sometimes they get quite busy - seems like everyone shows up when I do! I use outside ATM during daylight hours 99% of the time because it places user in vulnerable position (can be surprised by person approaching from behind or side of building). ATM is usually filthy (ugh!) & screen is hard to read in bright sunlight. I hate, too, that I have to pick a language. Can't the default be English? And, then you have to read an advertisement - furthering my vulnerability to the bad guys lurking around the corner.

Was forced to overdraw my account a little over a month ago, and was unable to get online to update anything until this past weekend. Called them today to ensure them I will be able to bring my account current again on the 15th of November, to be told that my account was approved for charge-off yesterday (even though I can still access it). I was also told that - even though the charge off has NOT been processed, yet - there was no way to reverse this process. Without this account, I will miss out on $13,000 worth of work over the next two months. If a charge-off hasn't been processed, yet, it can be stopped. PERIOD. This is piss-poor customer service, and I would not recommend you do business with Heartland Bank. Put your money in a mattress, instead. This review will be cross-posted to Facebook and the Better Business Bureau

I love this bank. It has a small town feel to it with personal service. I forgot about an auto pay I had set up and saw it the next day, I called them and they waived the overdraft fee no questions asked. Very friendly and helpful.

We began banking with Heartland on Wilson Rd about a year ago. The manager, Herb, is very personable, easy to speak with and helpful. This bank has a small town feel to it and the staff know your name and greet you when you walk in the door. Service is fast and efficient. No transaction fees, no service fees on our accounts! Best bank I've done business with in my 40 years of banking. We're here to stay.
