Friendly staff, vehicle was as expected and was not charged for any “hidden charges” or cleaning fees etc, will be using them again.

I was sent to this location through Kia dealership to get a rental. Upon arrival I was told I needed proof of full coverage insurance (which I have) but couldn’t locate my document right away, when I told ‘KAY’ that I have NATIONAL GENERAL FULL COVERAGE she said they don’t accept that and there was nothing she could do for me. She thought I had THE GENERAL insurance which they don’t accept but that was not the case. They do accept my insurance and instead of looking at my insurance policy she just denied me and didn’t want to help me at all. I asked another person working to show me which insurance they don’t accept and mine was not on the list. After they realized that, then they told me there were no cars available. Even though I had a reservation through Kia. Kay has a horrible attitude and even worse customer service skills. She should NOT be running that store. After leaving I went to another location, and they put me in a car in less than 20 minutes. Even after they closed, because they had GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Hertz, please look into this woman. This isn’t her first complaint.

Edit 5/19/25. Editing as I had a better experience at turn in. I was able to perform the turn-in inspection with the manager. She was very willing to walk outside with me to inspect the car’s exterior and interior. I put more gas in the vehicle than I rented it with to avoid being charged and made sure to let them know I do not smoke or have any pets that travel in a vehicle.

Poor customer service from the get-go. The male assisting me (tan/dark skin, medium height, thinning hair) couldn’t be bothered to even take his headphones out for the 10 minutes I was there? Seriously? How unprofessional.
He didn’t speak more than five words the entire interaction. Simply printed a paper, got up, walked outside to a car to take photos, handed me the keys, walked away again without saying anything, came back with my paperwork, told me to have a nice day (literally the ONLY words he spoke the entire time) and went inside. Who operates like that???
I also wasn’t offered a choice of vehicle as I have been in the past with my Gold Status/ Five Star rewards that state I have the option for expanded selection. Not a good experience here. Management needs to educate staff on not only how to deal with customers, but other human beings.

Strongly advise not using this rental company. They charged me for 0.36 gallons at $10.00 per gallon. I filled the vehicle up and drove 4 miles to return. There’s no way the vehicle used 0.36 gallons on the way there. I suspect they overfilled it to try to get more money. I’ve rented from many other companies over the years and have never had this type of experience. Update: the refueling fee was refunded. Appreciate them listening, but still would avoid this company when other options are available.

Hertz inappropriately charged us for an extra day. We picked up a vehicle at the end of day on a Friday (so we obviously did not use it the entire day) and when we returned it 5 periods of 24 hours later (which most car rental companies such as Avis refer to as a “day”), they charged us for a 6th day. I expressed my concern for their odd way of calculating car rental days but they dismissed my concern. So we used it for less than 120 hours (5 days by time) but they ripped us off by charging for 6 calendar days instead.
I tried to follow the link as below but nothing happened. However, I did receive an email from them earlier indicating they were ignoring my concern.

5 stars for the Hertz team (Calob and Cash) you guys did a stellar job! Easy to work with, great communication and you saved me when Enterprise screwed me over and left me hanging at the last minute. The cost for a Hertz rental ended up being cheaper than Enterprise as well. I absolutely recommend Hertz! Great job guys! Thank you very much!

The lady who was working was very rude. She was on the phone when we walked in and made a rude comment about us walking in to whoever she was talking to. I apologized for showing up as soon as they opened (which i shouldn't have because that is their business hours) and all she said was "yeah". I showed up at 8 when they opened and she acted like we were bothering her. The guy who was there working seemed to be very pleasant. Too bad he wasn't the one helping us out. Definitely will not be returning here. We left and ended up going to budget car rental with no problems.

I would avoid this location. I was overcharged by hundreds of dollars and despite multiple calls they haven't budged on the issue. Very dissatisfied with Byers and this office. Impossible to get ahold of management.
