Visited in October. Still peaceful and enjoyable despite little color or blooms.
Frequent weddings in the garden.
Lots of free parking and free admission.
Public library is nearby, but don't park in that parking lot. There's a much closer parking lot. Rose garden is large and hiding behind a building. Walk uphill or ascend some stairs.

I went here last year with my daughter who now lives in Columbus and definitely have it scheduled in this summer's plans! It's just beautiful! I was surprised that one review stated it was 'underwhelming'. That's why I'm chiming in and adding a late review. It's so colorful and peaceful. People painting, reading, and writing. Or just relaxing and taking in the scene. I have a huge number or pictures from my visit but don't have them on my computer! Maybe they went late in the year? Please treat yourself and stop by in June/July. You won't be 'underwhelmed".

Beautiful roses, herbs, and perennials. Great place for taking photos, relaxing on a bench, or taking a stroll. Wear sunscreen because there’s no shade in the rose garden.

Very tastefully architected and conceived rose garden near downtown Columbus. There were red, pink, yellow, and orange roses, among others, plenty of brick paths to wonder and benches for rest. There’s a delightful double-story gazebo, a butterfly breeding area, and a beautiful water fountain that adds a lovely backdrop to this peaceful location. No entrance fee. Thank you, City of Columbus.

Wonderful urban garden. Great for artists, weddings, or a walk in the park! Go for a walk, run, or bike ride on the paved Olentangy trail nearby!
