Not sure how their refund process is out of the 1800s. They can't do a transfer to your account but instead have to mail you a check. Complete scam of a company. Avoid.

Huntington Bank as a company is not friendly to small businesses. They have slowly but surely been squeezing out the little guy who accepts cash at his business through fees on depositing your own cash into your own account, lowering the maximum cash deposit allowed, and increasing business checking minimum balances. Find another bank that supports small town America.

They know me by name when I walk into the lobby. They treat me like I actually have money. Very friendly people. My Huntington branch is 17 S. High ST. 43215. The lobby is beautiful. Thank you.

100% totally unethical people avoid at all costs especially any advertisements about bonuses. You have to have your account 90 days before you get anything. This is a very small detail they hide.and they will deny every other transaction you do .you have to call customer service constantly because your card is being declined in places. This small bank is trying to attract people so it will stop being a small bag however, they are using very unethical practices to do it.

I'm suing Huntington bank for Theft and Fraud. They do not stand behind their customers through instances of identity theft and fraud. Your money is not safe with Huntington. Do not bank with them and pull your money out. They sent me 10 letters saying that information I provided was inconsistent with other information leaving me with no recourse to get my money back for 3 charges I did not make but to sue.COUNT 1 – FRAUDPlaintiff has a bank account where the bank is under obligation to give compensation for unauthorized cardusage in the event of fraud. And the bank entity did not hold to their responsibility behaving negligently. TheDefendant demonstrated negligence in the client-bank partnership by conducting its practices willfully, maliciously, knowingly and negligently. It is common knowledge that your bank should refund any money stolen from you as aresult of fraud and identity theft. The reason the public trusts their money with banks is that it carries the widelyknown about implication that the money will be safe under their care and here it was not.COUNT 2 – THEFTThe Defendant demonstrated theft by taking money and not standing by and representing the Plaintiffthrough the fraudulent disputes. The money was taken willfully and maliciously knowing that the Plaintiff was notin Las Vegas where the charges occurred. The Defendant took the full amount of the money willfully and with intent not to provide any compensationrendered for no service or product that was received with Plaintiff having no knowledge that the charges wereoccurring in Plaintiff’s absence. The Defendant is in violation and breach of the client and bank fiduciary duty tofail in its bank responsibilities that are publicly known to all.DAMAGESWHEREFORE, Plaintiff seeks compensatory damages in the amount of $678.75 plus court costs for noservice or product received for fraudulent transactions done in Las Vegas, NV while the Plaintiff was home inNorthern MI that Huntington Bank holds a responsible of refunding. The Plaintiff is willing to take a lie detectortest proving that she had no knowledge of the transactions if Huntington will pay for it at $150.

Ok so first I had direct deposit and always got paid on Wednesday this last paycheck was my pay plus yearly bonus they declined my direct deposit because “they didn’t know which account to put it in” And proceeded to make it look like it was my fault they couldn’t figure out which account it was to go in. I ONLY HAVE 1 ACCOUNT the last place finisher in the special Olympics would know where to put the money. So my employer being a great employer overnighted a live check to my workplace. I then take that check which was a guaranteed payroll check from adp hunting clerk was like oh there’s a hold on the check but you will have it tomorrow ok understandable it was a very large check nope I get an email saying I won’t get it to the first then I call then get the run around and then the first comes and goes at this point I’m furious and I finally got my funds on the 2nd over a week since I deposited my check. What bank can’t cover a payroll check? One that’s going under do not give these people your money ever!

No help on making a deposit available any earlier than 5 days. Not even a couple thousand dollars. To many people who can't make decisions answering phones.

Huntington Bank isn’t the same small business bank and good neighbor they used to be. They’ve transformed into a terrible (big) bank with even worse customer service! I will never do business with Huntington Bank again, and I will do my best to spread the word whenever I have a chance. I hope they change their practice to honor relationships and their word, but they probably won’t.

It seems like this bank is better with smaller concerns. I came here to deposit my check, and while the atmosphere is very intimidating, the tellers were very nice and thorough with their explanations

We sold some items on Craigslist. The “Buyer” sent a Huntington check over and above the amount and asked us to pay the “shipper” for delivery of the items we sold. “Coincidentally,” we also bank at Huntington. Fair enough, when the funds clear, we would just use the “extra” money we were sent, because it wasn’t ours and we weren’t going to just keep the money and/or the items. We deposited the check and the funds “appeared” immediately in our Huntington account, probably because the check was a “Huntington “ check. So, we sent the “extra” money to the shipper they had designated. Turns out, the check was a fraud and the “shipper” was actually a fake account they had set up. So, Huntington reversed the money transfer and the clever con artists made off with the thousand plus in “shipping fees” we had sent from the money we thought we had from the check Huntington cleared. We made a complaint because obviously we would not have sent the “shipping” money had Huntington not cleared the check. However, Huntington said they would not cover their mistake because apparently the law says “clearing” a check doesn’t necessarily mean the funds are available. What a crock? How are we supposed to know that after they put the money in our account?! Apparently, Huntington not only would not accept responsibility but apparently this simple fraud could ostensibly be committed over and over against customers and Huntington has absolutely no way to stop it! Their Fraud Protection is a joke. Beware that there aren’t any other clever con artists targeting Huntington customers because they are completely exposed.

Reposted because I think this is the corporate headquarters:I was impacted by TCF merger and was finally able to close my accounts after multiple calls and a visit into a busy branch in Minnesota. How is it ethical to switch checking accounts over from TCF to an interest account where a minimum balance needs to be maintained to avoid a fee? None of my TCF accounts had that?? Huntington sent mail during the acquisition saying that "they will pick an account that is close to what I had with TCF". I had two checking accounts with TCF but Huntington decided to convert one to a normal checking and one with the above minimum balance criteria? Something seems fishy here. The process to close the accounts was also horrible and I know I will not be back.

This is the iconic flagship downtown Huntington bank location. it is an absolutely exquisite piece of architecture, inside and outside. There's an ATM conveniently right inside the front doors and beyond that a beautiful marble lobby. Beyond the lobby you'll find the cavernous main public banking room. Look up when you get in there, because the ceiling is amazing. Wow! Surrounding this main banking room on three sides are old brass caged teller windows - only a few are usually open these days, which is a shame, but banking needs are different than when this building was built. I'm just happy that Huntington has had the corporate responsibility to keep this gem of architecture open to the banking public. It is truly something like you would see in a period movie. Even if you don't bank with Huntington it is sure worth a look.
