Not a fan of this location. Inconveniently tight parking. Drive thru very narrow. Be careful if you have bigger vehicle. Also, I have several checking accounts. This one charges 10$ in monthly maintenance. What do you differently then cashapp, or Dave, or PayPal or any other financial institution? What gives Huntington the right to charge 10$ for monthly maintenance? Some gym memberships are only 5$ a month? Make sense to anybody? I prefer my chase account over any other bank. Huntington Bank is the very last ranked bank in Ohio!! Google it! For good reason, it's like Huntington hires the lowest grade bank tellers as well. You never know what you'll see behind the counter when you walk into any Huntington branch. Visited this tiny branch today on a Saturday morning with very little customers. I wondered why at first. But after the experience, I will NEVER return to this location again!!!

No one knows what they’re doing and they have flimsy and inconsistent fraud protection

I had a business account with Huntington until June of 2024. After I closed the account in person at the branch and moved to another bank I was charged merchant fees that were not supposed to be charged. These fees were reversed and the account closed for the second time. Then I received nastygram emails from merchant services that I had additional fees after the account was closed! Then they kept bouncing me back and forth with merchant services for a two hour call. Worst customer service I have ever experienced with any bank over my 50 years in dealing with banks. I would never advise anyone to deal with these people.

Rude and Unprofessional Behavior from Branch Manager at Huntington Bank Indianola Branch
I recently visited the Huntington Bank branch located on Indianola and unfortunately encountered extremely disappointing service from the branch manager. During my visit I was met with rudeness and unprofessional behavior that left me feeling disrespected as a customer.
The manager, whose name I regrettably did not catch short guy with glasses , seemed disinterested in addressing my concerns. They displayed a lack of patience and were dismissive when I tried to explain the issue I was facing with my account. Instead of offering assistance or trying to find a solution, their demeanor was unprofessional and bordered on being outright rude.
This kind of treatment is unacceptable, especially from someone in a managerial position who should be setting an example for the staff and providing quality service to customers. It's unfortunate that my experience at the Indianola branch of Huntington Bank was marred by such behavior. He runs this branch like a Kool Aid Stand. We moved our 2 million dollars investment to Chase bank because of we were mistreated few times before by same person.
I hope that the bank takes steps to address these customer service issues and ensures that all customers are treated with the respect and professionalism they deserve.

Do not go to this branch. Stopped by to make a quick withdrawal this morning, but ended up closing my accounts due to an extremely rude teller. After approaching the desk and handing the teller my license, the teller looked at my driver's license and asked if I hated my parents for the name they gave me. This was so rude and absolutely unprovoked. Maybe they were having a bad day, but that is no excuse for such unprofessional behavior.

Awful service, terrible manager and poor customer service. Not sure why they need 8 employees but I have to visit 3 times and still can’t open an account. Taking this to the HQ about this.

My financial life, business, personal, are very entangled with Huntington. It's startling to see the decomposition in customer service at certain branches. This branch was decent a couple months ago; it was great several years ago. I went in this week & I was the only one in line. Out of five employees behind the counter, one barely greeted me. Perhaps it's the young staff. Maybe they're inexperienced with customer service. Maybe they were too busy talking to one another. It sort of felt like I was the adult interrupting a weekend party.;

On Aug 15, the atm ate upwards of $4000 of mine that I was trying to deposit. I opened an investigation case with the branch. After waiting patiently for over 10 business for the bank to resolve the issue, I was sent a letter being told the audited atm resulted in no error and I would not be credited the amount. I have received no further proof or documentation of the investigation. I keep getting the same run around from the customer service line and the bankers at the branch; that basically there’s nothing they can do bc they don’t have the security clearance to see the details of my situation. It’s instances like these that lead me to wonder if I would be receiving more due diligence on behalf of their staff if I were not a woman of color.I’ve filed another case with them claiming a slightly lesser amount to see if that might work. But every rep I’ve spoken to seems quite pessimistic as they say the atm balances out for that day. At this point, it’s my word against theirs, even though I have a photo of the error screen on the atm. Contrastingly, the bank won’t provide any additional proof on their end, not even the security tapes.**After reading other reviews about this branch, I see that their atm has a history of eating peoples money and the establishment gaslighting their customers about it.CLINTONVILLE BEWAREEDIT 9/19/22I was able to get all of my lost funds back! Special shout out to Katrin from the customer advocacy team at Huntington, whom I got into contact with through DMing their Instagram page of all things. She was 100% engaged and took the initiative to help navigate my case. I had felt so defeated after being misdirected and redirected for a month by other members of staff until Katrin reached out to me. Bumped my rating from 1 star to 3. Although I do still have my reservations about this particular branch; I’m glad Huntington has depts like Customer Advocacy in place for these sorts of issues.
