Gina was simply outstanding. I had my taxes done in April by another JH tax preparer. I was informed eight owed over $2000 in taxes. I was informed I had zero deductions.When I saw Gina last week, she was able to whittle that number down to $800.with deductions.Great job!! Nothing but thanks!

Service was awsome but price was outrageous in my opinion it is way overpriced I have had my taxes done there for 16 years now but next year I will have to look elsewhere so as to get price lower who can afford 600 dollars a year yo have done

Went to them for nearly ten years and this will probably be my last if they keep avoiding me like this. Last year they deliberately screwed up my return, didn't even finish it properly, falsely claimed they would finish it later(literally just required a few more of my signatures), still charged me for the entire process, and have yet to resolve this issue as of March of last year. I have called and called but they're miraculously always busy. I attempted to resolve this in a civil manner by providing them evidence from my own bank and their staff, in a certified letter from them mind you, that the transaction does in fact exist but somehow on their end, no such transaction exist and yes, the money was still taken out of my account. Two weeks ago I was promised by a nice lady that the issue would be resolved but as expected the staff for Jackson Hewitt are very much the take your money and run sort of folk. Just what you would expect from the city.Update. Lowering my review due to the complete lack of actual help provided by the reply that was provided yesterday. The young woman that responded to my call directed me to the very office that I had told her was deliberately avoiding the situation. I will be informing my local IRS office of this behavior as soon as I can because this office clearly has no intentions of resolving this and they have made that abundantly clear today.

I give Jackson Hewitt 1 star ,only because 0 isn't an option. Their prices are astronomical, tried to charge $500 for a basic return. I will do them myself before I go there again.

I went to Jackson Hewitt because I did my taxes on Turbo Tax last year, never got my return or three of my stimulus checks. I go in. A nice, professional lady does my taxes quickly, I go home with my Surge card to withdraw money for a much needed apartment and there's no money. The Surge sight won't even let me get on to see what's wrong. I just needed money for a place to live. My own money and I can't even have that even though I was charged a lot for the service.
