Last night our daughter's 2014 Honda Civic with only 54,000 miles started having driving problems. It was making a lot of noise with acceleration and was not moving very fast at all in drive. It got worse, my husband barely able to get it in the driveway. Even though we checked Google and knew there were other reasons why it could be having issues, we were getting ourselves ready to be told a new transmission was needed. We were not feeling optimistic. We have aaa, but it only provides a 5-mile free tow. A neighborhood seen great reviews for the JAM and mentioned it. After reading a bunch of the reviews ourselves, we called this morning to ask if they could take a look at the car. Joel was very accommodating, and a tow truck driver was able to take it to the shop within an hour. A few hours later, we received a call with the great news that it was just a transmission switch that was loose and had released the transmission fluid. The explanation of the diagnosis was helpful in feeling confident that they had in fact found the issue, and were taking great care of the car. They quoted a very fair price range that depended on how much transmission fluid they needed and said they would do the work right away. A few hours later they called and said the car was ready and we were happy to pick it up and pay a fraction of what a new transmission would have cost. We have found our new auto repair shop! Everyone we talked to was so friendly and very authentic and we are thrilled to have trusted and skilled people available, and so close to home. Highly recommend!

The JAM shop made me a believer in the need for good diagnostics, which they readily supply. They were very quick, communicative, saved me money and an unneeded repair, and Jo made the entire transaction a delight!

Honest, Fair, Skilled. I drive 30 mins across Columbus to this shop because they are that great. They never try to upsell you, if anything, they make sure you don’t waste your money doing work you don’t need. Best shop I have ever been to.

I ended up at JAM from a referral from Mad Hatter Muffler and I'm glad I did. My interaction with this company was great from start to finish. Jo is very knowledgeable and friendly and she got me booked for an appointment the next day. My car's issue turned out to be a difficult problem but Jason worked his magic and was able to fix it. In the hands of a less talented mechanic, it could have ended up costing me a couple thousand more dollars so I am very grateful for Jason's knowledge and talent. And besides the amazing auto repair shop that they run, you can just tell that Jo and Jason are really good people. Thank you!

My air conditioning started going out and coming back on, and I realized it was possible that I needed to get it looked at professionally. I saw The Jam Shop on a list that I had taken a picture of while getting my muffler replaced at Mad Hatter Mufflers, and decided to look them up. I called and left a voicemail afterhours, and they called me back the next day to let me know they could check it out. I dropped off my car, and it was fixed throughout the course of a day! They were transparent about what processes they would do, how much it would cost, and what issues they noticed during test drives. They quoted me a fair price for some other repairs I had been meaning to do, including my heat shield and a wheel bearing, and they fixed those too within the same day!
They are fast, friendly, and fairly priced. I will be recommending them to friends!

The JAM shop team cares about the customers they serve. Car repair is their business and they are good at it. They understand having a car in the shop can be an inconvenience and they make the process as smooth as possible.
My 2015 Subaru Forester needed new driver side front control arms and rear brakes. The repairs were done within 24 hours. During the test drive after repairs the mechanic driving my car was rear ended. My exhaust pipe was hit. JAM ensured my car was safe to drive until the culpable driver’s insurance was able to pay for repairs. This shop goes above and beyond with their care and expertise. We will be back.

I really couldn't have had a better experience! I've had some sketchy repairs before and leaving your car with mechanics can be stressful but wow. They did a phenomenal job at being fully transparent and relieving any worries I had about getting my car fixed up. I spoke with both Jeff and Jo who were both very professional while also adding a personal touch. I only had minor repairs done, but I will definitely be coming back for anything else I need done! Thank you guys so much!!!

Can't recommend this shop enough. Extremely professional, courteous, and communicative. They were extremely fair and honest about what they were doing and followed up multiple times to keep me informed. Jason was kind enough to throw my car up on the lift when I went to pick it up to show me some things to look out for and answered all my questions Above and beyond and I wouldn't go anywhere else for future repairs. This is the kind of service you would always hope for from your mechanic, but have probably never seen anywhere else.

Google directed me to JAM as it is conveniently located near our home. I quickly learned why JAM has a flawless 5-star rating, which is the other reason I chose JAM. When I looked at the reviews of other mechanics all around Columbus, it seemed every mechanic or larger shop had a valid complaint for something that had gone wrong during a repair and the shop did not make it right. JAM has a perfect 5 star rating as a result of the level of honesty and transparency Jason, Jo, and Jeff hold themselves to. We’ve had three vehicles through their shop in the matter of about a month for routine maintenance. I cannot say enough about the amount of time Jason, Jo, and Jeff take to discuss issues and provide explanations/conclusions to allow customers to make the best decisions for their vehicles.
