This was My second home. I'm giving them one star because they are closing. They are the only fabric store around in my area. The store discounts are full of crap.

Even with the going out of business chaos the employees were pleasant and helpful.

JOANN Fabric and Crafts s on West Broad Street in Columbus is an absolute disaster, and not the crafty kind. This store is a shining example of what happens when employees don’t care, managers don’t manage, and shelves don’t get stocked. If this place were a project, it would be the Pinterest fail of retail.
Staff Shenanigans:
Need help finding something? Good luck. Instead of actually assisting you, employees will either send you on a scavenger hunt through the store or flat-out claim the item doesn’t exist. It’s like they’ve turned customer service into some kind of twisted game show. Spoiler alert: Nobody wins.
Managerial Mayhem:
Management is clearly on a permanent coffee break because no one is running this ship. The shelves are as barren as the Sahara—not because the stock is flying off them, but because nobody is bothering to restock. Why have shelves at all if they’re going to stay empty? Maybe they’re just going for a “minimalist chic” look.
Christmas Chaos:
Their Christmas decorations are laughably overpriced. Even at 60% off, they’re still gouging customers with $399.99 price tags for imported junk. The quality doesn’t justify the price, unless you’re looking for a budget-friendly way to feel ripped off this holiday season. You’d get a better deal decorating with dollar store tinsel and leftover toilet paper rolls.
Loss Prevention… Or Not:
And let’s talk about the so-called loss prevention officer. This person sits at the front, glued to their phone, while the shelves sit empty. Honestly, who’s stealing anything when there’s nothing to take? If Jo-Ann swapped them out for someone to stock shelves, they might actually have a store worth shopping in.
In summary, this Jo-Ann Fabrics is a train wreck wrapped in overpriced ribbon. Unless you’re in the market for frustration, overpriced knick-knacks, and a DIY headache, avoid this place at all costs. Jo-Ann, do better. Or at least try.
I say avoid this location make the trip up Hillard Rome Road less than 10 minutes away to their compition until JOANN's makes better operations and management decisons.

Ok - so here is the deal. I have been to the Lincoln Village Joann’s 3 times in the last 7 days. The store is a wreak! Crates and boxes of merchandise in all the aisles. Look I understand about hours and payroll, but if you don’t get the merchandise out and in an orderly fashion - it’s not going to sell. That lowers sales and payroll. A few over nighters would help and then sales would increase and payroll also. Come on Joann’s - do better. I won’t bother coming back - Hobby Lobby is very close by and that’s where I will be spending my money. Do better upper management!!

Staff was really nice but the store was an absolute mess.

Was told I had to wait 15 minutes for the worker to come back from her break to get one piece of fabric cut and that no one else was able to help me. Absolutely ridiculous.

The store is a mess. The lighting was turned down too. The store looks like it will be closing for good. A total wreck!

The store was a mess. And they did not have what I was looking for. Asked for assistance and didn't get much information plus had to wait on someone

Obviously good selection of fabrics and craft related items but the store was disgusting and a huge MESS! Lots of fabric reams were empty but had their replacements sitting on top of the racks. I had to risk my safety to get a heavy roll of fabric down. Staff was friendly but only two people in the whole store. No wonder the company claimed bankruptcy..

don’t understand why we are closed at 6:30 on a wednesday. that is very inconvenient. drove all the way here just for a sign to be on the door saying they are closed with a ☻ face? what’s happy about this. this location clearly has some serious issues.

Arrived at around 8:50 and waited outside until 9:10 for them to open I don’t know if there was some reason why they didn’t open the doors at 9 but me and a few other people were waiting for awhile.

I wasn't sure what I needed for my project. I described what I was doing to one of the staff and they directed me to the exact fabric I needed.
All of the employees I interacted with were fantastic!!!!!
