Love seeing the free concerts over Labor Day Weekend 2024! On Friday night, i saw the Led Zeppelin tribute BAND... The Song Remains. (Missed the Dead tribute Band- but happy about that!) And on Sunday saw the Shadowbox Tribute of Prince and David Bowie! All very well done!!
They were dog friendly, so my very well behaved dog, joined me, both nights!
The space is really nice, if you have never been...you must!! Nicely landscaped...pretty on the day or night!
There is a nice.carousel for kids to ride.
Jeni's splendid ice cream is a permanent space there. Along with some food and sometimes food trucks.
They have permanent restrooms and port a potty available.
I always miss the weekday shows they offer. Wish there were some Saturday night free shows offered!

Very nice, relaxing place right in the middle of the city. Even right on Ritchie street it was pretty quiet and serene.
Picnic area: It was a beautiful field, nestled between apartments and mid-level buildings that allowed a great swath of sky.

If you want a free location for a date night or time with the kids this is your place. It’s so wonderful that Columbus offers activities that are low to no cost. The downtown location makes The Commons easy accessible but you will have to pay to park in a garage. It’s definitely worth the fee.

Love this space for outdoor concerts.y only complaint is certain events you can bring your own cooler, snacks, etc, and others you can not.

We had fun watching the family movie and riding the free carousel. It was a very enjoyable and free experience with our kids. ?
Dog-friendliness: We weren't sure but saw a few pups once we got there.

Great symphony and fireworks display after Picnic with the Pops.
Also, the annual Shadowbox Labor Day weekend show is a MUST see!
