Do the security scanner things at the entrance not work? Those things have been around for atleast 50 years , I'd imagine the technology has only gotten better. ... that being said .... YOU THINK ID STEAL A FUCKING BOTTLE OF WAter ??? The Christmas Grinch has a name... Kroger in the Brewery District... I have been relying on their pickup and delivery service since my brain injuries, but this week they accepted an order for delivery on Thursday, then moved to Friday, then moved to Saturday, then cancelled without notice or offer to reschedule. (I know, you might be thinking it's due to weather, but they are fulfilling orders placed after mine and in fact they can't even find my order now, and weren't interested in order # or screen shot). The multiple people I spoke with on the phone (including management) had zero interest in helping and some didn't even know Kroger offered delivery. They also had zero interest in any solution, even a pick up order before Monday. My physical limitations were also of no interest (by the way, don't rely on using an electric cart at that store...they are usually all taken by able bodied "joy riders") I'm trying to serve a few people for Christmas Eve and can't drive or Uber to Kroger and do it myself due to physical challenges and they won't even offer to set up a pick-up. They could care less. May the Universe reward them justly, and may the people I spoke with tonight find it in their heart to rejoin the human race. Oh and I'm a paid Kroger "Boost" member, so what I have described is their "premium" level of customer service.

I just went to pick up a prescription that was needed today and was instructed it wasn't getting filled until tomorrow. I said I wasn't notified she said I know we didn't send one. She then stated they didn't even have both prescriptions to even fill!! So they wasn't going to fill my prescription until the next day and they didn't even have it all instantly pissed me off. She finally offers to call another Krogers I waited as I shopped and received a call from them stating that the Krogers they called didn't have it and that they were referring everyone to chambers rd. I agreed to just call them to fill it you know the pharmacist had the nerve to say they didn't have that locations phone number! I know they have a phone directory bc I used to work at Krogers! They need a customer service course bc that is unacceptable!

I thought I had found the worst Kroger. But this really beats any other location for being the worst. The parking lot is a mess. There is also a gas station here so it really makes things tight and busy. Finding a spot takes real effort. When I went, the store was basically not stocked. The fresh fruit/vegetable section was mostly empty. I got a few items and was waiting in line for my turn when one of the customers started harassing me over where I was standing in the line. The cashiers were also just "there" not really helpful or friendly. Honestly, just go out of your way to another Kroger location and save yourself a headache.

I give this store TWO stars only given the pros such as a fuel center, a Pharmacy, and that it mostly has what you need, and that it is convenient to the Near East Side. Those are, in my opinion, the only positive things here. I have been going to this location for many years as one of my go to grocery stores. The parking lot is always a hot mess. The traffic in and out is a circus show, trash is always in the lot, and carts left everywhere. I think this is a result of design, lazy & inconsiderate patrons, and then the store employees that do not keep up with it. People and taxi's also stop and park out front block entrance so it causes congestion. There are people panhandling, going car to car or standing out front asking for bus money, trying to sell you a cell phone, or whatever story of the day is. The Inside corrals are a majority of the time are empty or have just a few carts. The floors are generally dirty inside the store and the lines are usually long and at sometimes down the isles. And they are killing me with the Spectrum kiosk sales people where you can't even get through the door to go shopping without a hassle. The customer service in general service is hit or miss though there are a few employees that are really good. There are long waits at the deli counter too. I go here a few times a week because it's close and will continue to do so but it is so rare that I have a stress free, positive experience.The convenience keeps me coming back or I would have to drive farther for a Kroger.

In line Sunday Nov 7 at 950 a.m. 1 worker showed up at 952, and 2 others at 959. At 959 1 of the 959 arrivals unlocked gate. How in the heck you suppose ]to OPEN at 10. Gate had to be completely opened, computers & register opened & cash counted . Looking at all this as I waited in line. Poor business practice. Should schedule to open and be PAID at 15 minutes prior to opening.

Gas $1.87 today before my $.30 off with my fuel points!!!! I say taday was a good day! I usually fill up my gas at this location or my other spot because they usually have cheap gas. Typically a fill up for my Jeep Grand Cherokee is around 2ish dollars is around $45 bucks. That $.30 points off allowed me to fill up for $35 on $1.56 per gallon.

I placed a online cake order 12-23-19 to be picked up around noon 12-28-19. noone made my cake, noone even had my order. I showed them my email confirmation and the girl behind the counter repeatedly apologized. she told me she could kinda decorate a cake similar to what I wanted and charge me for a 1/4 sheet because the cake was a half sheet. I told her no thank you. not only did I not need a cake that big but at this point felt I shouldn't even have to pay for a cake because its not like it was messed up or the wrong cake, it wasn't even made. she went and got her higher up, this guy was the biggest crock id ever seen. no apology no nothing walked up said all he could do was half off and walked off. rude, ignorant and inconsiderate to the fact my sons bday cake was not even done by the staff he was covering. Thanks Kroger for being rude and inconsiderate and almost ruining my sons bday.
