Don't ever go to this Kroger!!! Their pharmacy is a joke, and they are rude. They don't know what they're doing. Also the bakery is a joke to you place an order for simple cupcakes and they can't even get that right! Avoid this Kroger at all cost.

Easily the worst Kroger I’ve been to. Only grocery store where I have to check the expiration on every item I grab, I typically find at least one expired item every time I visit here. I recommend to go further west to the one near Galloway.

Kroger needs to tell that boy dressed up in "tactical gear" with his little highlighter to calm down, lol. I know he's mad that he's trusted with little more than checking a tiny piece of paper, but I figured he'd be used to holding small things in his hand by now....
If you don't want to be hassled by some authoritarian man-bun with a highlighter, I'd suggest visiting a store that doesn't pre-emptively assume youre a thief. Aldi is far less expensive and better quality. The best part, no George Zimmerman to whine at you!

If the terrible variety all around, lack of meat & deli counter, and the amount of homeless people hanging out in the parking lot harassing customers wasn’t enough the inside looks like it’s half renovated.

I shopped in Krogers on 12/11/24 with my two children. After checking out I stood to the side while waiting on my Uber. Your security guard approached me asked me to stand clear of his desk. After I moved he asked me to go outside or he would call police. I asked the security guard was he a father I have children and there's no way your asking for me to stand in the cold. So then he said yea leave or I'm calling he ran and got Dawn/don white lady store manager who also asked to me leave. Considering I had just shopped in the store and had committed no crime I continued to shop until my ride was available. Krogers ,security guard please tell me why you felt the need to call police or order me out of your store? Instead of kicking me out bc they had no right to I decided to continue to shop until my car was near. My question is in what way could you make any sense of asking a mother to leave while waiting for a cab/Uber ? I told the security gaurd to speak with people from his heart not his uniform bc he himself shared he was a father I did nothing wrong and you sir and you Dawn both asked me to leave your store while looking me in the face and holding my children. The harassment is real and I'm suing you. Where's your heart Krogers?

I've been a regular customer at this Kroger for years, but recently, the experience has become less enjoyable. Every time I leave the store, an employee checks my receipt. This process can be time-consuming, especially if there's a long line behind me.
I understand that Kroger is trying to prevent theft, but I believe there are other, less disruptive ways to do this. For example, they could use cameras or random checks instead of checking every single receipt.
I would appreciate it if Kroger would reconsider this policy. It's a minor inconvenience, but it adds up over time and makes me less likely to want to shop there.

Kroger has created a dangerous environment to shop. I have never had such a bad experience with any type of store. To start I filed a complaint (case number 72419164) that they have not followed up on after promising to reach back out which shows me Kroger Corporate doesn't care or has no system in place to take care of issues like this.
I have shopped at this Kroger for years and never had any issues before, but clearly they have changed some policies the past few weeks that has made their store unbearable and unsafe to shop in.
My first negative encounter-
First- A few weeks ago I got a smoker and went to Kroger to buy several different meats to try. I get out of my truck and was immediately harassed by several homeless that are working the parking lot begging for money. Then, after I go in the store and buy several items and self checkout (because you never have lanes open)
As I am walking with my arms full of bags out of the store (rarely do I use a cart) I see three guards by the exit door. One approaches me and says I need to check your receipt. I look down at my bags (not knowing which one I put it in or if I threw it away which is my typical) I said no thanks and kept walking. The guard then postured toward me as if he was going to try to assault me and said "its store policy for you to stop for me to check your receipt" I told him I did not care and kept walking. He yelled after me that I didn't need to be shopping at Kroger. I left and immediately called to speak with a store manager. I was told she was unavailable so I left my number and requested a call back. That call never came.
The second encounter-
A week or so later- I came to the store again. Again bums all over the parking lot begging- I walk in and notice that again they have 3 security guards buddied together by the exit door. I was having company so I ran last minute to purchase a few bottles of wine. I use the U-scan and of course it immediately flags for my ID to be checked. I stood and waited for around 10 minutes yes 10 minutes and nearly gave up on my purchase before an employee came to check my ID an unlock the Uscan. The best part is that the first thing out of her mouth was not oh sorry for the wait but - " YOU WAITED ALL THIS TIME AND YOU DON'T HAVE YOUR ID OUT AND READY!" So in disbelief I continue to check out my items and walk out the store - this time I made sure which bag I put the receipt in and went to walk out of the store. A different guard than last time asked to see my receipt so I tried to be a good sport and put my bags on the floor and handed him a receipt. Not only is he checking that I have a receipt, he is literally checking off each item I bought while his buddy (the one who told me I didn't need to be shopping at Kroger) comes and stands next to him. I told him I didn't have time for this and I picked up my bags and walked out of the store. I then called for a store manager that night (again no response) so I called the corporate number and filed complaint 72419164 on AUG 15.
There is no excuse for accosting your customers after they make a purchase. Your 3 guards could easily watch the cash registers and easily make out who was and who was not scanning their items. One of them could also be used to deter all the aggressive begging in the parking lot. Another option is to invest in a few employees to check clients out instead of relying on the U-scan devices. (I know novel idea!)
I think it is important for context to point out that I am a 6'3 fit Male who has managed several retail offices including in the area of this kroger over the last decade. If I felt unsafe in my interactions think how that 5' mother feels shopping there. You are setting up an environment that I am 100% sure will end in a lawsuit against you.
The contrast could not be greater than the Kroger by my office- each time I walk in there

So I was going to go to self checkout but then there was a girl cashing out this guy so I went to her line and this girl , kassie her name tag she was rude to a man that did not know English , she was laughing in his face telling him I don’t know you’re gonna have to leave. He paid his card declined. She was laughing. He pulls out another card and pays perfectly fine the payment went through he was trying to find something in the store and he asked her and she said I don’t know and then he went to the security guard and she yelled he can’t help you and laughed really hard , this is so unacceptable she needs to be fired or she needs to be put in her place. Not only that she had her shirt half way up when I walk into a grocery store, I don’t wanna see a girl with her shirt halfway up this Kroger is very unorganized

Between the convoluted item pricing and wannabe punisher security guards, I'm fed up. Never shopping at another Kroger if I can help it.

No apple cider, customer service closed at 5pm?
They must be trying to beat the one on East Main Street for worst Kroger ever it seems.
Always out of carrots. Keeps me saving money at Aldi.
Salad mix is always out or expires in 1 day. Even the stuff that is a week out has decaying leaves inside of them. Probably not stored properly.
