I love visiting this little market on 5th avenue! It's just like the little corner stores in Mexico. They have some fresh produce, typical mexican grocery items, and friendly staff. I love to head in and always practice my Spanish with whoever is working. They sometimes have different fresh treats available depending on the day. If you get lucky they have tamales! Occasionally they even have fresh juice. I grabbed a big container of mango juice a few weeks ago. Last time I was there, I left with a huge container of chopped mango covered in tajin with some lime slices included. Such a tasty treat-- there was so much mango that I ended up throwing half of it in the freezer to snack on later or to use for smoothies. There is also a taco truck outside in the parking lot, but it's a separate business. I would recommend ordering something from there and then heading into the market to shop while you wait for your snacks (and buy more).

Just moved in the neighborhood in this market is 6/10 of a mile from me, needed some Kiko's flour tortilla Grande! They had what I needed and will be back to further explore their store. Great location on 5th Avenue easy to spot, want food immediately they have a truck serving hot food.

This place is like a corner store and carniceria in Mexico City. You can buy a decent selection of meat, some limited produce, and a ton of package goods and convenience food, and some more obscure grocery items like really good cotija cheese. There is also usually fresh horchata on the table when you first walk in.

I felt like I wasn't welcomed there. African American not wanted. And they were using needles in the meat department weird.

This about the taco truck out in front of the store Not the storeThe taco truck could add a little more meat on/in thier food I paid $20 dollars for two tortas de pollo and I couldn't even taste the chicken because there was hardly any no avacado or Chile en vinagre or hardly any beans or cheese so I paid for more bread and lettuce if anything just list a customer here for being stingy with the chicken and avacado I know other trucks who make a way better tortas

I used to shop periodically at Las Maravillas but I have not been there for perhaps thirty years.During the 1980s and the 1990s, I would stop at Las Maravillas every few months to purchase quart-sized bottles of jalapeño peppers whenever I would need to replenish my supply at home. In the past, I would eat one jalapeño pepper [while holding it by the stem] whenever I would heat and eat frozen burritos at home.Las Maravillas had been the only place in central Ohio where I had been able to purchase that many jalapeño peppers at the same time. For many years, there would always be a quart-sized bottle of jalapeño peppers in my refrigerator.About thirty years ago, I was suddenly unable to eat individual jalapeño peppers with a meal as I had for so many years. With a great amount of sadness, I stopped shopping at Las Maravillas because their jalapeño peppers had always been so delicious [but unfortunately had been the only item that I would ever purchase there].Today [8-25-2021], while I had been eating at a recently-opened taco restaurant in Upper Arlington; my server told me that Las Maravillas is still open and that she stops there every few weeks "just to hang out."I am glad to know that Las Maravillas is still there.

Los Maravillas is a very nice little Mexican grocery. It's right next-door to Los Primos taco truck - my favorite taco truck in the city. The grocery has lots of Mexican staples, and they usually have specials - either tamales, or Horchata, or Mexican corn, or mango with Cayenne pepper. All are delicious. I always feel welcome, and the folks here are very nice. Great place, especially if you're already there getting some delicious tacos at Los Primos.
