People if you don't know. This IGA location has shut down. I'm so heartbroken because it was one of the last gems around. It has been replaced by a company named TORO Market. I loved this place. ?

Fruits and vegetables are very suspicious. Carrots in bag were 2 weeks expired. But you can definitely can a few things if you need some staples quickly like oatmeal, banane, water, etc...

This store is a neat little IGA, it’s just the Isles are way too narrow. Other than that it’s a neat little store.

The staff is very friendly but they're always out of flappers. I love flappers and they're the only reason I come here. They should definitely order more at a time because they are very popular and they know everyone comes here for them. The meat is fresh though. I literally only come here for one thing and rarely get them.

I moved out the area about 15 years ago and we took my mother yesterday. She wanted to go this IGA and it was so great to be back and I was still able to get good meat and good service. The sales people were so helpful to my 77 year old mother . The cashier was the best . Store was clean .

I've been past this place so many times. I think I've been in a couple times, literally decades ago. Was a pretty standard IGA. And it still is. It's under new ownership though. I got there before it opened, unusual for me. Everyone was very friendly. The shelves are fully stocked, and packed; there's a lot of stuff for a fairly small store. Your selection is obviously going to be less than at a big box. But there's plenty for your daily needs, and prices are reasonable. Decent amount of produce and meat, lots of dry goods. I ended up mostly with snacks. There were some things I have not seen other places. Out of my way, but handy if you are in the area.

i usually don't mind shopping here even though their prices are high, but that little old lady cashier that works there is a terrible cashier and is always rude to us, and went off on my husband when he was just joking to her, absolutely nothing to get bent out of shape about. She is always extremely rude to us and I don't plan on going down there again and I advise others to stay away from that place, the other cashiers are great, but not good enough to keep our business. hope they talk to her about her customer service skills , cause she has none.

I've known this store was here since I was a kid at Capital U in the 70's (under different owners, of course) but never went in until about a month ago since I now live in 43215 part-time. It has "real world" prices for those of us who live downtown--not some "over the hills" types of mark-ups. And yes, just like the IGA used to be in my old hometown, there're folks back there actually CUTTING MEAT, not just packing it up from some bulk lot and tossing it in the cooler! I could hardly get close to the meat counter on a recent Saturday. IF you need "odder" meats, this is your place. The family that owns the store works in it, so there! Support a (sort of) downtown business and save the gas going to the 'burbs for groceries. Ed D.
