48 Hour Return Policy - RefrigeratorWe bought a Frigidaire refrigerator that was delivered on 2/23/24. We were surprised by how loud the compressor is, we can hear it running when sitting in our living room 25ft away. The sound didn't improve after a few days and it was becoming very annoying to listen to.I went to the Polaris Lowes location, on 2/27/24 to ask about a replacement. That is when I learned about Lowe's 48-hour return policy. I haven't bought an appliance in 10 years, so I had no idea about this. I bought it online which doesn't properly explain or show the 48-hour return policy when purchasing. Lowes washed their hands of the situation and gave me the number to Frigidaire's customer service. I am now stuck with trying to get through to Frigidaire's customer service. Never buying from Lowes again. Hope this helps someone else.------------------3/5/2024 - I finally got through to Customer Service and unfortunately the Lowes Rep wasn't interested in help. I tried to explain that the website is misleading and not clear about the 48 hour return policy. Hoping something good would come from the call. The Lowes Rep wasn't interested. It was a very frustrating conversation. Not sure why I was directed to call.

We were a little confused over the self checkout. It said to scan put in your loyalty card to get points. We thought maybe you could only use this checkout with a loyalty card. Cashier was busy with another customer, so we were on our own. I touched the screen and we realized we could use it without being loyalty card members.

If I could have negative numbers I would.I ordered a dishwasher and install, they told me it would be ready to schedule install by Wednesday of the follwing week.It was not in fact there for two additional weeks. Install was scheduled for a week later, I took the day off of work for the install. They called me after noon to tell me that the dishwasher was damaged and I needed to be re-ordered.I called after a week, nothing. I checked every day. Another 14 days pass until someone says "Let me physically check."The dishwasher had been ther for 9 days, no one bothered to mark it there. Reschedule another install. Another week. They refuse to make me any priority level, instead they tell me when they will be there. I take another day off of work. They show up at 1:00pm the installer says it's too tall to fit, and a new machine needs to be ordered. At this point I am so beyond furious I tell him to cancel everything.I double check the measurements, since the machine we had in there was the same dimensions as the machine we purchased and I physically measure the spot it's going into, and according to those measurements it was in fact within specs. The installer really just seemed like he didn't want to install the machine, not that it wouldn't fit.Customer service gave the answer that "Well, the measurements are not accurate on the details of the machine... so it looks like you definately need a different machine."I demanded a complete return and refund, and I am cancelling my card with them. Two months, two lost work days, and absolutely zero regard for my time, my money or my frustation. Never once an offer to speed anything up, no consideration. I was left on hold for hours alltogether, so long in fact that it defaulted me to a customer survey. The store manager at Polaris refused to even bother to ever speak to me.Zero solutions, zero concern. Zero professionalism.I will never, ever step foot in a Lowes again, and I will tell everyone I know (especially the contractors I work with) to absolutely never use this terrible company.

Got a good deal on a dishwasher. A young man got it from the back took it up front, rang it up and helped me load it. Very nice guy.

Tom was so helpful during my recent visit. He was personable and professional and seemed genuinely happy to answer all of my questions. In addition to helping me select the right size and style of shiplap, he also cut the boards for me! This is a new DIY project for me and I really appreciated his time and insight.

Worst experience I have ever had had at any major store. I bought 2 gallons of paint and was told if I don't like the color then I can bring it back. I started to paint thought the color was off but thought maybe once it dries it would look like what I thought I bought. It in fact did not. When I tried to return one of the two gallons I bought, I was told they would not return the paint because it had been opened and was not all the way full. I then asked then why would your associate tell me I can return it. I was told that that could have been he said she said. So the manager was calling me a lair. When the interaction started to get a little confrontational I was told that if I was going to make a big deal about it then I can just get out. After I spoke to his manager Brittany nothing changed from that. I then took the exact same paint jug straight over to the easton store. Told them it was the wrong color from what I asked for. No questions asked they returned my paint and gave me the correct paint. I also proceeded to spend another $100 on painting supplies from that store. I believe they were stereotyping me at the polaris store. I called corporate and filed a case and I will be going back to polaris store to talk to a different manager on monday. I work customer service and have for many years both as a manager and regular employee, so it takes a lot of wrong doing for me to feel strong enough about something to go this far with a complaint. I hope someone reaches back out to me by monday of next week as I will be filing a BBB claim on tuesday morning if something is not done about what happened.

The store is fine. I have no issues with anyone there. I just wanted to let everyone know the Lowes Protection Plans are a scam. I bought a commercial grade washer and got the 2 year extended warranty, Lowe's Protection Plan. Well, it is a scam. They said it doesn't cover commercial washers used in a commercial setting. It only covers commercial washers if used in a residential setting. So, I wasted my money on a protection plan that I can't use. And sales knew it and sold it to me anyways. If you own a business, and you plan to use your Lowe's purchase at your business, the warranty is automatically voided.

We recently had a positive experience at this store after observing a concern. A few weeks back in early September, a hidious Halloween display was set up right in front of the entrance. It was gigantic and grotesque. You could not avoid it, even if you tried. About a week later my boyfriend said he wanted to return for a quick stop. I said I'd rather go to Home Depot but since it was on the way home we stopped but I stayed in the car. Well, while my boyfriend was in the store he sent me a picture that the display was gone. And then we drove by the entrance on our way outand I also saw the display was gone. A few days later, I called the store and spoke with a manager (Scott?) Who was nice and professional to say, Thank You.
