I love this nail salon! Only place I go! Every nail technician does a wonderful job! I’ve had my nails done by all! Wonderful pedicures too! Salon is very clean and everyone is welcoming! Just love my Maika Nails!
Cleanliness: Maika Nails is the cleanest salon I’ve experienced. Everything from the floors to the walls, the technicians tables and the seating! And, of course, the tools they use for pedicures are in a sterile sealed package! Maika Nails is everything you expect from a nail salon!

Requested style: They gave me a short nail coffin nail which I asked for.
Specialties: They have gel X and a lot of nail places don’t have that service.

Mai now has my full loyalty!
I used to get my nails done on a very regular basis years ago and was extremely faithful to one lady at one salon. I stopped getting them done all together for years and just recently started back up. I was kind of lost on where to go after years without nail salon experience, so I ended up at a salon in Clintonville-Beechwold area that I had seen many good reviews for online. I wasn’t impressed.. at all. The acrylics weren’t set all the way to my cuticle so I was due for a balance in less than 2 weeks. After some random Google searches trying to find a place that could take me last minute, that was (very) fairly priced, I came across MAIKA. I saw Mai for a balance that was needed much too soon after visiting the other salon and I absolutely adore her cute little salon and her, too! I had stuck with solid colors my first two visits with her so I went a little crazy today. After showing her many photos that I couldn’t decide between, she left me in awe! She talked me into the gel polish this time after the chlorine from the pool faded my last color quickly AND she took some extra time with my design today. Surprisingly, the cost wasn’t much more than the simple balance, one repair, and solid (not gel) color I got last time.
Mai at MAIKA is my one and only go-to from now on!
Requested style: I went in with quite a few photos I found online that were similar to what I was looking to get. I wanted fun, I wanted something unique, I wanted black, I wanted neon, I wanted a splatter effect, I wanted a smokey effect, but I also wanted something that would match whatever I chose to wear. She threw everything I wanted together and left me with nails I couldn’t be more happy with!
Stylist: Mai was attentive to the many color/design options I came in with but couldn’t decide on. She threw something together and left me very impressed!

First time at this establishment. I had no appt, walk in at 6:15, closing time at 7. I was welcomed with friendliness and smiles.
I am very happy with my Pedicure but it is pricey. For a basic pedicure $40 with gel polish was an extra $25, $5 to take the off current gel polish would have been $73. I opted not to do gel and I paid $48.

The staff at Maika are amazing at what they do! I had never gotten gel x nails, or any kind of extensions before I came here, but since my first visit I've come back multiple times. Overall everyone is super friendly and they are a group of great technicians. This is one of my favorite sets that I've gotten!
Requested style: The original inspiration photo did not have a sparkly line anywhere on the nails, but I wanted something that added to the look. Mai elevated the style perfectly :)
Stylist: For the set in the photo, Mai and San took turns, with San shaping and preparing the gel-x extensions, and Mai doing the line art. Both women is amazingly and I was so happy with these I took a bunch of pics of my holding things :)

I like this nail shop. I’ve been going here for years, but sometimes I notice that other people are catered to and I don’t like it because I spend my money just like other people just like today I was out there just to get my nails dip and polish change on my feet my appointment was at 11:30. I didn’t get out of here till 130 and it’s because I had to wait on some other people that came in after me that did not have an appointment and I don’t like that.

(So I was charged for a gel extension and I didnt ask for extention. I just wanted her to cut and file it to the square shape. I think I got poly gel.
Please show the menu with prices for the procedure before charging a client.)
The nail tech put lots of time. Maybe an hour into just drilling for the pedicure. It came too close to the skin and cause a little bleeding on the softest spot. I though it was fine initially. I added 15% tip just because I always tip.
