A solid hardware store, everything thing you need to paint, repair, or build. The home and garden is not the best and service can be slow to refill propane. But if your looking for hard to find items this is much better then the other traditional box stores.

Walk in with a broken item from a web order. I give them the details, they then tell me to go to building materials. They print out a sheet I take back to the exchange desk. Basically I have to run across the store twice to be told "it'll be 20 days".Backwards idiotic policies.

Went into this very LARGE store. They have only 2 handicap scooters, or so they said. 1 would not work. I did not see the second one anywhere. My friend was unable to shop. I went in looking for a couple things in particular. She and I wanted to browse. I bought 2 things and left. I don't plan on going back anytime soon.

Always have great deals and I love the rebates. One of my favorite stores ever. They have alittle bit of everything. Definitely recommend.

Never been here before but figured I’d give them a shot since I’ve heard good things - Ordered an item online, the item did not fit so I returned it. Never made a return at Menards before so I went to the front counter for information, the two employees working this counter were jabbering on a personal conversation and didn’t acknowledge me at all until they finished their conversation (They looked at me several times during this conversation but didnt say anything to me). Once they did start helping I was treated like a criminal and a massive inconvenience to them, I told them Ive never been to Menards before and just needed to return an item but not sure where to go to do that, I got some huffs and puffs in response but they reluctantly processed my return. To add insult to injury I had to pay a @$35 restocking fee that I wasnt aware of (Ive never been to Menards so I didnt know this), which the employees seemed to take some sort of sick enjoyment knowing this annoyed me. I wasnt rude, I was polite and tried to have all the info needed to make this an easy return but was treated poorly….. I know Im in the minority here but Ill never recommend this store or Menards based off this experience.

Besides there being no associates to help (plenty of employees putting out stock and walking around) because "I don't know " and "it's not my department " sent us to possibly find the guy, if he's back there, that could help. We were given directions "If we have it it'd be in the aisle with...". We found it but because of poor signage we were lead to believe that what we wanted was $20 cheaper. Cashier acted offended when we said "no thank you". I offered to move the trolley, she refused and proceeded to tell me all she and the store would have to go through now to get it out of the way and back where items belonged. Do Not go to the Polaris location. Reynoldsburg was much nicer.

I couldn't find anywhere to review a specific item on the app so I'm gonna review the store I order from.I ordered a Costco 2 in 1 hand truck (dolly) on 9/2/23 @ like 7:40 am. I went down by the fairgrounds and back, was gone maybe an hour. Was back home by 9 am. I pushed the button to open the gate and it wouldn't open. I got out my jeep and seen its bc they had already delivered the dang dolly. They delivered it faster than I could have got myself together and get to the store and back with it. That was the fastest delivery I've ever had, these guys are on it.I haven't used the truck yet, bc I just got home but I ordered it to take my old washer up to the road for bulk pickup. (I know, why did you spend $200 for using it once, but we are going to moving next year and it'll come in handy)Anyway, awesome customer service, I'd give them 20 stars if I could.

I just left the Menards on Rome Hilliard Road. Jeremy just provided the best experience! I was here to pick up some chlorine for my husband’s pressure washing business. Jeremy immediately greeted me, got me a cart and loaded the product! Then he took the cart to the register, help me check out, and when no one answered from loading, he took the product to the truck for me and loaded it into the truck! I attempted to tip him. He said he couldn’t except it!! Awesome experience!!

I bought a power washer from this store and it didn’t work and tried to return it and they told be once you put gas in the fuel tank that they will not return it. That doesn’t make a lot of sense. How are you going to know if it works or not without putting gas in it. They tried to get me to run around to some repair center after they told me the day before that they would take it. I am a small business owner and buy a lot of my products from this location and other Menards locations but after this experience, I will not be giving them any more of my business. I know this ain’t gonna hurt them financially, but yeah.

I'm still waiting for Menards to issue an official apology for their aggressive stance on masking and disallowing children in their stores. Now that it has blown over, I think it would be appropriate for Menards leadership to acknowledge that they went overboard, especially when considering that their competition acted much more reasonable and courtesy to customers who had the CORRECT information with regard to the effectiveness of such policies.Will Menards apologize to their customers and their staff for following fear mongering and going so far as to turn people away simply because they had their children with them???Or will they hide behind excuses that they were acting out of ignorance and simply complying with non-enforceable mandates?Well Menards leadership?You choose to stand out as the one store in the area that went full on crazy with your aggressive policies. Do you plan on ever issuing an apology to the customers that you harassed and inconvenienced by demanding something that some of knew was absolutely ridiculous at the time?Or will you simply continue on in silence and hope that people will forget your actions?The probation period for coming forward and admitting your missteps is over. It's time to answer for your choices.

It's as if they go out of their way to hire the most unfriendly and unhelpful people. Every question I asked was answered with grunts or I don't know and blank stares. I hope to never find myself at the mercy of Menards and I guess will just shop local like we all should.

I ordered paver bricks online thinking the process would be easy. The joke was on me. I couldn't find the pickup location so I went in to ask a member of the staff. That was a ridiculous task in itself because no one knew what I was talking about. Once I had drove around the entire building I found the entrance to customer pickup. Drove in and parked in the designated parking spot and called the phone number listed on the sign. No answer. I walked into the entrance and stood at a desk until someone finally arrived. The employee was rude and seemed annoyed that I was there. He scanned the receipt on my phone, handed me a piece of paper and had me drove around the side of the building WHERE I HAD STARTED IN THE BEGINNING. The very worst part is that I had to load the truck myself with 60 paver blocks because the employee said "ITS NOT LIKE I CAN HELP WE ARE SHORT STAFFED". He also told me he can't predict when they wont have enough employees. Needless to say it took me a while to get the paver blocks loaded because there were no carts in Customer Pickup so I had to carry the bricks one at a time to my truck. I will not be shopping at Menards again.

WARNING DO NOT BUY PET FOOD HERE. We purchased a bag of dog food here, only to discover it was full of bugs. We purchased the same food at a different Menards across town with store credit, to discover it was 3 years past sell by date. At the point we asked for our money back at this location and were told we could only have the store credit, and were assured they take things like bugs in food seriously (we reported it to the store originally and the manufacturer of the food, and they said it was likely happening where Menards stores their inventory).We go back to get our third bag of dog food, and the whole pet food aisle was crawling with bugs. Pictures attached. It was disgusting. The manager wanted to give us our money back, but the system didn't give her the option, and Menards doesn't have a number you can actually call. What poor customer service that you can't even escalate ridiculous situations like this. This is dangerous for the health of pets, and the most the manager could do was give me a feedback form to mail in.
