Original review (Mar 30, 2024): Micro Center does not honor their Price Protection policy on an item that was bought less than 2 weeks before the price dropped $60. Chat, phone, email support is nonexistent, and keeps feeding me generic messages and straight lies that I will "get a call from the store tomorrow" or just keeps ignoring me in the chat. The first ticket created on Mar 26th, and this still has not been resolved, I did not receive any calls. So it's been 4 days and I still didn't get the $60 refund, and can no longer return the item for a full refund, because the return window has closed! This is just outrageous at this point! This is a textbook example of shady business practices. I filed FTC fraud complaint, I hope Micro Center will be fined for this nonsense. The item was shipped from this store, so I hold this store accountable. Update (April 2, 2024): Micro Center did call me to resolve this issue, waiting for the refund to be processed. This doesn't change the fact that this the whole thing dragged on for so long (instead of a few minutes with support), that I was not able to do the return for a full refund, which feel like a shady business practice.

Suddenly I could not login to my desktop Dell computer. During booting computer comes up on the black screen message: - "PIN was missing". All my efforts to start the computer came to nothing, and on February 14 I took the computer for diagnostics to the Microcenter Repair Shop. I paid $40 non-refundable fee and 5 days later I received an SMS message: - OS Windows corrupt, needs reinstallation Windows. it will cost $99+tax. I took the computer back home and tried to play with this machine in my free time. I found out why the computer did not start because two drives, one SSD and one Hard drive, were locked with Bitlocker. After a long struggle, I managed to remove the Bitlocker from both disks, but the computer still did not start, as it turned out I had damaged the BIOS. I had to take the computer again to the Microcenter Repair Shop to have the system reinstalled on the computer. When I came to pick up the computer, I asked to turn it on and show that reinstalled Windows are activated. After turning on computer comes out, Windows has two users account none of those under my name. Knowledge Bar guys said: - sorry, we will fix it in a half-hour. 40 minutes later I came to pick up computer. The next day, at home it turned out a problem with the Windows Update, - Error Encountered, pops message: - "There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later". I got tired of carrying the computer back and forth and I called Home Office Microcenter Technical Support by phone. Tech support technician logged into my computer by remote and tried to fix this problem for two hours, after which he advised me to take the computer back to Microcenter. At Microcenter, Knowledge Manager (Head of Repair Department) start fooling me, - "Not to worry about, don't pay attention to it, Windows 10 is old program it's exhausted, Microsoft not supported Win 10 anymore". This update requires 250 MB of free space in the recovery partition to install successfully. If the recovery partition does not have sufficient free space, this update will fail. Before picking up the computer from repair, I asked the technician to increase the volume of partition, but he refused to do so. I don't know how to do it and he's just too lazy to do it because the money for the repairs has already been paid. I want to remind, this conversation happening in March 2024 not in 2025 when Windows 10 PCs won't be able to get updated after October 14, 2025. Among other things, I would like to note that the computer has two disks, one SSD with the OS on it and the second Hard drive for storing information, the technician who installed Windows could wipe out the information from the SSD and install Windows again on this disk, but save the information on the Hard drive, but he erased both disks. I want to share my thoughts - If something happens to your computer, don't rush to take it to Microcenter for repairs, first of all, they will charge you non-refundable money for diagnostics, then plus money for repairs, and if they screw up with the repair, then it's almost impossible to get the money back for repairs.

We needed a new printer and wanted to get some middle of the line wireless earbuds. Andrew D. was wonderful, helping us with both items. We ended up with an Epson Ecotank printer and some sound core earbuds, I even found old school mouse pads to use at work on some reflective surfaces that play havoc with optical mice.

The store is clean and nicely laid out with good signage. All the staff members were very helpful- I was looking for a computer mouse, laptop bag and headphones. There is an information desk centrally located in the store - the staff members were able to answer questions and show me exactly where to find the merchandise. At the checkout - the cashier was professional and store manager thanked me for coming. I will definitely be back.

It's been years since I needed to purchase a PC and I had some idea of what I wanted. Our sales person, Travis, was very helpful without being pushy. He asked a lot of questions about how I plan to use the PC and what peripheral items I needed to attach. Once we had the specs we looked at a few PCs under several brands. Because I don't need video graphics or engineering software, he steered me away from the high end costly units. Settled in an ASUS Vivobook. He also had a cost effective solution for my Ethernet connect requirements. There was no hard sell on the extended warranty coverage, which I declined. I was also thanked by the department and store manager for my purchases. Very positive experience.

Nice shop ,lot of products and good deals. I find it better than best busy. People should visit and explore this shop as well before buying products from other electronics shops. There were good deals on gaming head sets and other products

I mean the best computer store around and it isn’t even close. The staff is supremely knowledgeable which is very hard to find anywhere else. Great place to go even if you aren’t a computer nerd.

Place consistently has inaccurate count on products they supposedly have, which would not be an issue if you're not trying to get something that is in-store only.Staff are pleasant and will help you with whatever you need. Please make sure they put their sales person sticker on the product since it helps them.If they can resolve the issue with products by removing in-store only, providing a ship-to-store option, rain-check option, or actually keeping the stock they indicate online it would be a 4 or 5-star place. This has been a consistent, and quite annoying, issue to run into.

The Manager, Tom Welsh is a outstanding individual who represents Micro Center with great customer care ..... Let me explain. I spent 2+ months aquiring parts for a build to which once I hired a professional builder /company to do so found the motherboard had underneath the CPU cover thermal paste and upon closer inspection a burnt pin. Tom Welch, the manger upon finding out this and listening to my complete story along with checking the facts refunded my purchase and offered a new board with his apologies, stating, even though it was past the refund period the "customer experience was priority One". Normal businesses will not go past their policy dates even if it's proper and good for the customers relationship if it isn't good for the bottom line ...... The manager at Micro Center blew that theory out of water and I am very glad to call Micro Center Bethel road my store for life ...... Tom Welsh your a rock star and we are lucky as customers in the central Ohio area to have you....... Thank you Sir. SALUTE

Fixed my PC the honest way. My liquid cooler went out and my PC was instantly at 95 Celsius. They recommended an inexpensive air cooler solution that was like $70 cheaper. They got the repair done quickly (within an hour) and had me back up and running!

This Micro Center location has never let me down and is my go to for PC parts and random tech gadgets. My partner's first computer was built from this Micro Center and all of my 3D Printers came here too. The store is always clean and the staff have always been friendly, and I've never felt as if I wasn't welcome. The best part? The prices are typically always better than the competitors!

A few year ago, I bought a very powerful, loaded PowerSpec (Micro Electronics/Microcenter) laptop. Last night, it it fell about 9", forming an inverted-V shape (^), the sides of the "^" being (of course) the keyboard and screen. Why hadn't I closed the lid.... or positioned it safely..... The screen was black. The connector from the screen to the motherboard was sort of loose. I jiggled it, screen came on. Until I fully opened the screen, which went black. The connector was not one I'd seen before, with no obvious way of re-connecting. Very scared, but hopeful. So, this morning, I went to the Sharonville, OH, Microcenter before they opened. At 10:03, Dwayne O. asked if he could help me "today" and I said, "TODAY would be GREAT!" By 10:10, I was out of there, screen on, laptop working normally. His repair had taken less than 5 minutes. (No charge) Dwayne O. could have checked me in, taken my laptop, and said it would be ready Friday, or whenever. But he saw the problem immediately and knew exactly what to do. I'm home now, laptop working fine, as usual. Dwayne, and the Microcenter personnel who encourage this sort of activity, are to be commended. Even before Dwayne's beyond-the-call kindness, I had promised myself that MicroCenter was going to be my first (and no doubt only) place to go for electronic purchases and repairs.

I turned in my laptop for a new screen about three weeks ago, they initially told me it would be about four days maximum. They told me at first they had the screen on hand but would need the cable. After the cable got in, they told me that I needed a new screen. When i told them that I already knew that and initially turned it in for a new screen, which they said they had on hand, they told me they used it for a different unit and they'd have to order it separately, but they could do it overnight. They did NOT order it overnight, it took another week, and they got that installed, and then told me that they also didn't order another part that they needed, and it's going to be longer before they have it in. The customer service has been rude at best, whoever is ordering the parts has been entirely incompetent, and the manager Dennis Santero sent me a very blatantly rude text when i was inquiring about all the different mistakes they'd made. Currently waiting on more parts to be delivered for the third time, genuinely not expecting them to have it correct this time either.
